Which Gift Did You Recieve From Father Christmas? There are so many reasons to be grateful. For life, for peace, for happiness, for hope, for love, for Jesus, for health, for family and for people. Everything above these are extras. Gifts, education, financial prosperity, influence, power before men etc. are good but; - none of them equates a good health. - None of them equates a loving partner, - None equates a supportive family - None equates the beauty of loving people selflessly - None equates peace of mind. - None equates sacrifice of Christ on the cross. - None equates the warmth of humanity. As we're drawing our gratitude list for 2023, make sure you start with the essentials. Your degrees, diplomas, promotions, contracts, raises, gifts etc are only extras. Merry Christmas once more! I'll be back with a list of my lessons learnt in 2023. Don't hesitate to pick up one or two tips for yourself. And make sure you share yours, so I can learn myself. Kisses from a happy gyal! J!

Hey, How are you doing today? Have you thanked the Lord for life? Or, have you thanked the Lord at all today? Oh! Do you think there is nothing about you that is worth thanking God for? Really? Oh! I see. Because that dream job, contract hasn't landed yet? Or, is it because November is already ending, and the month that closes the gate of 2023 is almost here, and you are yet to achieve your goals for the year? Or, are you looking at someone's life to rate God's work in your life? Are you looking at the achievements of someone and you have concluded in your heart that, because you are yet to achieve all the other person has your achievements are worthless? Because as humans, we tend to focus on all we are yet to have and forget to be grateful for all we have, it is pertinent to count your blessings and name them one by one. Today is Sunday, I need you to take a seat and ponder on all the Lord has done for you, and count your blessings starting from LIFE. If you think you have nothing to be grateful for, then you are probably not taking note. What are you grateful for? Your Grateful Heart will give you the Courage to Face the Uncertainties in Life We never know what lies ahead. But as long as you choose to thank God for all the blessings you receive, you will always have enough courage to overcome your problems. When you open your eyes to the good things around you, your perspective will also change. You will begin to see the hands of God moving in the midst. Instead of complaining about the challenges you experienced, you will appreciate the lessons that you learned. You may not understand what’s going on in your life, but thinking about the positive things that happened will surely make you feel at ease. It will give you the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding. Choose to thank God for everything that He gave. Even if you go through so many uncertainties, it doesn’t mean that He already abandoned you. He continues to pour out His blessings even in moments when you can’t appreciate Him. Just be grateful for everything that He allowed you to experience. Thank Him for sustaining you until now. Tell Him that you treasure all the blessings that you have. With an open heart, express to God how grateful you are for all that He is doing behind the scene. And only then will you learn to receive His strength. You will have the courage to take another step simply because you choose to remember everything He did. Stop focusing on the bad things around you. They will only make you feel weak and disappointed. Just surrender all your problems to God. Instead of thinking about your worries and fears, choose to praise Him and recall those moments when He saved you from pain. Appreciate all the miracles that He did. Never forget that behind the brokenness are wonderful blessings. So focus on the great plans of God. And thank Him for not giving up on you. When you finally learned all the lessons, you will end up praising Him for allowing you to go through difficult moments in life. But until that day comes, choose to be grateful even for the simple and little things that surround you. Your thoughts will affect your actions. If you always think of negative things, then you will find it hard to overcome your problems. But if you choose to make a list of God’s blessings, you will eventually see the brighter side of all the challenges you face. You will have the confidence to fight for your dreams because you see the hands of God guiding you along the journey.

THE NIGHT COMETH... So, I was reading a devotional some times back, and it talked about Christians working hard so as not to suffer hardship later on. It explained how physical works to fulfill God's purposes for our lives are very important, and also being productive. It then talked about people taking up menial jobs at the age they are supposed to be retired, just to survive as a result of not doing what ought to be done earlier on. Something dropped in me. That particular example can also be applied to the spiritual journey! Although, we can not retire from God's work unless HE says so. But, we can slow down our journey big time by refusing to put in the work as soon as possible. That at that time you are supposed to be well grounded in the work of God, you are just trying to find your way around bible study and devotion. That when you are supposed to be a teacher of the word, you are the one who needs to be fed, not with meat yet, but still fish. ***Heb. 5:12-13 (Please, go check it. Check different versions too, maybe.) Will you be able to go out to witness for God when you turn 80? Even if, it will not be as easy for you as when you were 18! Will you be able to pray well when you are suffering from different kinds of old age sicknesses? Will it be when you have kids, husband/wife, a house, and a job to tend to or now that you still have just a few distractions? Let us start doing what we ought to do now that it is day, so we will not end up fruitless for the kingdom because we will not be able to do much when the night comes. Plant, harvest and tend to your field now while you have strength, then harvest later. See, the strength possessed as a youth is usually not the same. It is not impossible to get a decent active work at a very old age, it is just hard... To want to start serving God better at old age is not impossible, it is just not as easy as when at a younger age. The same for the called folks... Start your walk early! So, you will not be trying to find your bearing when the world is supposed to be enjoying the deposits of God in your life! So, you will not envy your mates when you seem way behind them, not in population or building, but in your own lane of the run. Start that devotion now! Build that routine now! Start that skill now! Start studying your Bible now! Do it while you still have the strength, time and energy... The night will come before you know it. Whether we like it or not, the coming of the night is sure, and not in our control. Why waste time away during the day and suffer it at night?     INTEGRITY PLATFORM.   Thank God is a new week. Glory and honor be unto the Most High. Are you making it big in life? This Platform is thanking God for your life, integrity, resilience, commitment, focus, hard work and never say die. Continue and may the good Lord enlarge your coast more and more this week and the remaining part of this year. Are you struggling and trying to find your feet and bearing? It is well with you. Don’t forget our local pep up words, “man no die, man no rotten.” Who says, God has forgotten you? Is a lie. Even a woman that gives birth to her child will not, how much more this caring God. Keep moving and don’t give up. One thing you must unmistakenly factor into your endeavors is the GOD FACTOR. Tell him always in your prayers, dear God help me, I cannot make it on my own, if you don’t help me the world will laugh at me. Tell him some are even praying that you fail, so that they would say, long time ago I had predicted it he is going to fail. Unfortunately, they don’t know that the cow that does not have a tail God mandates himself to be driving away flies for the cow.   Sit down and ponder over your life. Ask yourself these probing questions: What are my gifts/talents? What are my areas of strength? Do you know that for the Chameleon one gift God has given it is the ability to change its color. This means it could conveniently adapt to any environment or condition without being perturbed. BUT YOU MUST BE RELIABLE    Another strength of the chameleon is its long tongue. With this long tongue it could wield it and catch its prey without missing. Your ability to adapt to this national economy is going to be a plus to you. This writer has long realized that my mouth is a God given gift. Yours sincerely I play no games with it. Painfully, some use their tongue to suck the under of women and make it empty and powerless. Good to note that the one that gave me the tongue warned me not to use it on a woman’s private packing space. SORRY SIR, THE TONGUE IS NOT CREATED FOR THAT. NO MATTER THE YEYECIOUS ARGUMENT OF SOME. Have the heart of a lion. Lions are unflinching. They are not frightened or moved by noise from any quarter. Lesser animals are moved by noise. Again dear friend, remember this counsel by somebody,” If the world is aware that you know where you are going, they will clear the way and give you chance.”  ALWAYS BEAR THIS IN MIND. The lion’s goal is their target and their target is their goal. They finally win their battles, by defeating their prey. Remember life is a like a battle field— YOU MUST WIN AND WIN YOU MUST!!! This Platform joins you in prayers that you be a success and one day we shall SALUTE you as an example of somebody who God helped and he is helping others. The world is filled with records of those who rose from bottom to the top. YOU WILL BE A SUCCESS STORY. Keep hope alive. Peace and peace be upon you.  

Life is fickle: 1. Be good to the people in your life who you love. Don’t wait for an opportunity to tell them you love them. Cherish them. Make sure they know you value them. Not only through words but through deeds. 2. Settle your debts. Write your will. Leave your affairs in order. Live as if tomorrow is not coming. 3. Apologize to the people you’ve wronged. Forgive those who’ve wronged you. Swallow your pride. Don’t walk around and live with the baggage of unforgiveness. Don’t think a right day will come. Today is that day. 4. Don’t take a safe landing or a safe trip for granted. Be grateful when you leave and return safe. Practice gratitude constantly. 5. Check on those you care about – regularly. Send them a message. Pick up the phone and hear their voice. Go see them if you can. 6. The things you want to do – do them. Don’t wait for next year or 5 years or 10 years from now. WELCOME TO 2024, THE YEAR OF NOTHING, IF YOU YOU DO NOTHING. Today's most popular trending TEXT is all about 'Happy New Year or Wish you a prosperous 2024. However, Its not about wishes, its about action. Pastors are busy dishing out all types of 'messages of hope to their respective congregants, The Year of Breakthrough, The year of Prosperity, The Year of Victory and whatever as God tells them BUT listen, 2024, is a Year of nothing, if you do nothing! All the sweet sound messages will not mean anything until you do something yourself. My message to you friends and folks is, Pray and Plan and then pursue. God will only bless what you work on according to His will. Do not be religious but be realistic. Take action and do not keep repeating the same things year in and year out yet you expect different results. Otherwise 2024 will be like 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 or whatever year or even worse. 2024 is just a number, it is not enough to just wish each other a happy one. It will not bring happiness unless you find something that will make you happy. God has never rewarded idleness. Look at all successful people the Bible speaks about, they all had to do something, they never just waited and hoped. Set up your goals and then prepare then take up appropriate action. Do not fear failure. When you try and fail, be happy because you have just learnt one way of not doing things. Listen to constructive criticism but do not underrate yourself. You are not useless. Everyone who is normal in the world can do something. It is not about your government always, it is not about God always, it is not about your friends and relatives, it is about you.As a man thinkenth in his heart so he is. Remember God told Abraham, 'Look North, South, East and West. As far as your eyes can see, I will give you and your children that land forever!'. Here God was giving you an open cheque. He says you can do anything as long as you believe. Only you can limit yourself. So folks, I pray for all of you that God opens your eyes so that you will see limitlessly in 2024. I am praying for you instead of just wishing for you; walk in love, believe and be diligent in all you do. Start today, set your goals and move! *Again I repeat, Welcome to 2024, the Year of nothing..if you do nothing.*

Thankful for being Thankful! Like many of my colleagues in the Logistics space, we are working through another difficult cycle. Economists like most intellectuals, like to use words that often soften the impact of what they really mean in reality. Words like, “downturn”, or “recession” and “cycle” are replacements for suffering, depression and the truth that we don’t really know the outcome at times. I often think about how strong our past generations were to handle the direct and more poignant words, and how at times we are missing the mark as a society by not fully facing what’s in front of us. So what do words have to do with being thankful? It’s not the word thankful, but how being thankful is something that transcends all words or economies, or states of health and prosperity. In fact, if you look at how thankfulness has been injected into the history of mankind, you’ll get a better understanding of how the Native American peoples, and the pilgrims found away to take the time together and put all of their differences aside to give thanks. My Native American ancestors, may have been giving thanks to a great spirit, while the pilgrims gave thanks to God. It really didn’t matter because in the end, their hearts were united and pointing in the same direction towards hope for a better day. Pictured are me and my cousins at a funeral yesterday. While we all share our own challenges, we also share Native American blood, and also the blood of other immigrants and those who suffered for us to have life. By the looks on our faces, you would think we were at a reunion or wedding. What we were experiencing was true thankfulness. As we continue in this month of thankfulness I offer and pray for all of you to see the blessing of thankfulness in the good news as well as the bad.
