I love how volunteering is a priority at Baptist Health, because volunteering as a team can offer numerous benefits in addition to benefitting your community. Below are my top 3 reasons why you should volunteer with your team on a regular basis: 1. Sense of Purpose and Fulfillment: Volunteering together reveals that sense of purpose and fulfillment we all crave with the added satisfaction of contributing to something bigger than the daily grind. Creating moments that matter and leaving a positive impact have a ripple effect! 2. Enhanced Communication Skills: Volunteering isn't just about the tasks; it's about honing those communication skills. Coordinating efforts to achieve a common goal in a different setting can create major communication breakthroughs!! This has the potential to create smoother conversations and a workplace where everyone's on the same wavelength. 3. Skill Development and Learning: Volunteering is not your typical office routine – it exposes your team to new challenges, fostering growth and discovery. Love, love, love this campaign from Lidl 👇🏻 In celebration of World Bee Day, Lidl has put together this brilliant initiative, which helps support pollinators. Here's what they've done: 1. They've launched these new Bee'rs (Free bottles of syrup, which can be put down to help revive exhausted bees). 2. They've donated £10K to the British Bee Charity, to provide learning materials to 500 schools, educating them on the importance of bees and bio-diversity. 3. They've set up a simple landing page, with tips on how you can help bees and other pollinators. A great campaign for a great cause.

The highlights: * A customer donated $500 to Jeremy Lowe, the owner, to help feed people in need this holiday season. * Jeremy's solution - create a board with "pre-paid meal receipts." Anyone can take down a receipt to receive a meal - no questions asked. * The idea sparked even more guests to participate. * Already, more customers are paying it forward with over $2500 meals on the board, donated to help those in need! WHY IT MATTERS: >>> The simplicity in the execution was brilliant. >>> The guest that started it all wants to remain anonymous, not looking for any attention, just wanting to help others in need. >>> The joy of giving is contagious. #journeybacktojoy

"𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 (𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗮/𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸/𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗺) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 Monika's DoggieRescue. Surprisingly, larger entities aren't interested, though our rescue efforts indirectly benefit them. But we need a long term solution.  The shelter is in a high tick area of the Northern Beaches in Sydney so tick protection is non-negotiable. 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮.
