Volunteering has always been close to my heart, but my involvement with Girlguiding holds a special place. Here's why I dedicate my time and energy to this amazing charity. 💙 the opportunity to empower young girls. 💙 Girl Guides isn’t just about camping and cookies 🍪 ⛺ (although those are fun too!). It's about teaching girls invaluable life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. 💙 it has introduced me to a community of like-minded, passionate individuals. 💙 one of the most gratifying aspects of my involvement is the impact we have on the girls' lives. 💙 volunteering with Girl Guides is also a journey of personal growth. It challenges me to be a better mentor, communicator, and leader. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me develop new skills.. 💙 it's about spreading joy, positivity, and a can-do spirit. 💙 Girl Guides has a rich history and a legacy of empowering young women for over a century. Being part of this legacy is an honor. In conclusion, volunteering with Girl Guides is more than just giving back; it’s about being part of a positive journey for both the girls and myself. It’s a commitment to fostering a supportive community, empowering the next generation, and making a lasting difference. This week, I'm excited to be volunteering for #OpMo as a pit crew member for #CrowdstrikeRacing by #RileyTechnologiesLLC. It's an incredible opportunity to travel and learn while also giving back. Volunteering has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me, both personally and professionally. "Those who tell the stories rule the world” As October wraps up today,looking behind into how the year had started for me,going all normal and the sharp turn around that I experienced when I decided to start sharing from my volunteering story and journey. Truth is our individual stories makes us just unique the way we are,and most especially what make us who we are today. The most interesting thing about sharing our stories is how there is just that one person by the corner who eventually feels less alone,gain strength and courage to keep going. When people ask me,how did I know people were going to be particularly interested in volunteering,my answer is as basic as "I have over 6 years experience in volunteering,it was just basic to share from a subject dare to my heart" And between May and now,glad to have made an indelible mark,grateful to all of the opportunities that has come simply by that action. And you know what happens when you don't start? 📷 Moderated my first panel session on the International day of the girl child,Thanks for giving me your stage Ladies of Virtue and Excellence International (L.O.V.E) Foundation . This is a cue to say just start the way you are and with what you have now,61 days is enough to change this year's narrative. Something big is coming tomorrow💃💃💃💃,finally found a way to compensate our non profit founders for their challenge I couldn't do. When you are doing good things and sharing them online for others to get inspired, that is fine. But if you are doing it just to show it off, it's not going to change anything or create any impact. Doing it for the sake of views or attention might give you attention for two days, but when the hype is gone, you are back to being normal, and people will forget about it later. The goal of doing a good thing is to think and feel better. Even if you couldn't inspire anyone, the good deeds will make you feel good. Do more good things to become a better person and feel positive! Volunteering, helping, or making a contribution are some great ways to start! 🌟 Giving Back: Filling Your Cup first 🌟 They say the moment you give, you receive back. Volunteering brings me immense joy, and here's why: it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution. Some might argue that it's selfish to do something for others if it also benefits ourselves. But I say, why not both? At the end of the day, I'm doing something that uplifts me while also making a positive impact on others. Being selfless doesn't mean disregarding our own needs. In fact, it's quite the opposite. By prioritizing self-care and fulfillment, we're better equipped to support others in the long run. Remember: fill your cup first, and then watch it overflow with abundance for everyone around you. 💫 #GivingBack
