I like this view of the characteristics changemakers need. I suppose I’d want a debate about whether changemakers are actually in charge of change or whether the change is an emergent factor that we need to grapple with (and what the subsequent weighting of these skills might look like) but perhaps that’s semantics! I think what this leads me to think about though is whether any one person can/should fulfil all of these roles or whether actually pulling together matrix teams of people with some of these skills but maybe not all is more helpful. With that kind of diversity of worldview and skill set it feels to me we’re likely get to a richer view of the issues and ultimately a better outcome for more people.
