United Airlines applauds the passage of a comprehensive, multi-year reauthorization of the FAA. This legislation prioritizes aviation safety, invests in programs to advance the aviation workforce of the future and, most importantly, ensures the Air Traffic Organization has necessary funding for staffing and facilities. We look forward to working with the FAA and Department of Transportation to implement this critical legislation and continuing to provide the most accessible and efficient air service in the world.
It's a shame that the government would prioritize getting 87000 more IRS investigators rather than the agents needed for the FAA.
Why are you fighting against the DOT's latest rule on price transparency?
Thank all the hard workers not the CEO, all he does is spending money that at the end could have been bonuses for them hard workers
Just need a better aircraft that's not gonna kill me inflight or on the ground. More Airbuses to the fleet
This would seem on the surface to be a genuine sentiment by Kirby. Some know better. Those employed under his so-called "leadership" don't recieve the same recognition and support, as seen by long drawn-out contract negotiations with United's labor unions,, while other U.S. airlines with and, most notably, without labor representation, get far better total compensation. United Airlines has never been listed as a "Top 100 U.S. Companies" to work for, nor have they ever been one of the best airlines on which to travel. Their strength has always been their route system and their mileage program,. That is literally all they can stand on, at this point. The fact that Kirby supports the improvements in staffing, aviation safety, and facilities of the FAA is fecking laughable, given that the ship over which he has been given the title of captain is in utter and total disrepair.
Best of luck!. Still feel a part of my UA family despite my RIF pandemic retirement. Love my Airline UA❤️
Just reading the comments on here, Mr. Kirby has his hands very full of challenges as CEO of United Airlines. As a customer who has flown almost 2 million lifetime miles on United, I am happy to see that they have received their reauthorization from the FAA, and I trust that they are fully committed to delivering me (and all of their passengers!) safely and comfortably to the destinations where we travel. Congratulations, United! I look forward to my upcoming flights in the friendly skies.
Prioritizing safety and investing in the future of aviation is crucial for the industry's growth and passengers' peace of mind.

2moMaybe you could get your flight attendants a contract. That would be good news.
