And not just because their McPlant is a DREAM 🍔 This weekend, I watched 'Founder', the story of how McDonalds came to be the global mega-business that it is. And I took one key thing away from it... Simplify processes 👏 The key reason that McDonalds became a successful, scaleable business was because the kitchen ran like clockwork. They only offered 3 main products and did them to perfection. There was a system for everything and it was as slick as it could possibly be. 😥 If things are messy, they're only going to get more messy as the business scales, and will lead to failure. The traffic increase is welcome but the economic imeratives of a price and discounting thrust requres more customers. 3% is not enough. This is not rocket science for restauants. $MCD has been dealing with this price/store economics balancing act for decades. It has immense brand marketing and systems capability.
