Administrative Supplements to Promote Diversity in Research and Development Small Businesses - SBIR/STTR #DiversityandInclusion Are you interested in supporting more diversity and inclusion in your biotechnology? The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Small Business Program is accepting applications for Diversity Supplements, which are administrative funds (up to $250,000 in direct costs) to enhance the research and entrepreneurial workforce’s diversity by recruiting and supporting students, post-docs, and eligible investigators from underrepresented groups in health-related research into the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Scientists, entrepreneurs, and trainees from diverse backgrounds and life experiences bring unique perspectives, creativity, and individual enterprise to address complex scientific problems. Participation by minority, socially and economically disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses is critical to the success of the SBIR and STTR programs as well as to the development of new treatments, technologies, and products that address healthy aging. NIA strives to identify, develop, and support researchers by fostering diversity in the workforce through the SBIR and STTR programs and encourages you to consider applying for the Administrative Supplements to Promote Diversity in Research and Development Small Businesses - SBIR/STTR. https://lnkd.in/gT8XhyNU
