So much is happening at the #BESummit24. ☀️ Some highlights from today:☀️ 1️⃣ #EU Catalyst partnership in action! 🌍 Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, the European Investment Bank (EIB) European Commission announced €75 Million of funding for Rondo Energy to develop industrial decarbonization projects across Europe. #ETES 👉3*3*3: 3 projects across 3 geographies in Europe (🇩🇪🇩🇰🇵🇹) across 3 sectors. 👉The deployment and learnings from Rondo’s projects will work to make clean industrial heat and power cheaper than traditional fuels. More about the first projects: https://nt-z.ro/4czhpbu Huge congrats to the amazing Catalyst Mario Fernandez James Blake Cody Evans EIB Jean-Christophe Laloux Irene Gálvez Alessandro Izzo and EC Anna Krzyzanowska and many more colleagues — and to Rondo Eric Trusiewicz John O'Donnell Mark Meldrum Caroline Jo 🎉 2️⃣ Bill Gates and Rodi Guidero discussed the power and the challenges of the #clean Industrial Revolution. 🌱 The transition is hard, “it’s the hardest thing that mankind has to do,” but we can do it by unleashing the power of innovation - not only new techs, but also new products, services, solutions -- and using all the levers we need to bring innovation to life: tech, policy and collaboration. 👉Think about where we have seen progress over the last 10 years (ie: building a foundation of innovative companies across the five #grandchallenges) but also think about the opportunities and challenges of the next 10 years. 👉 What is a good set of KPIs?
