Today, we bring you an inspirational story of resilience, hope, and love. Skye Deane attended the premiere of ‘We Dare to Dream’ in Leicester Square last week. The documentary follows five young refugees transformed through sport, sharing their challenges and hope as they apply for the IOC Refugee Olympic Team in Tokyo 2020.
Waad Al-Kateab, known for 'For Sama', demonstrates awareness and leadership presence, providing a voice for displaced refugees worldwide. Her story represents the struggle of innocent people against violent regimes, emphasising the importance of safe sport for mental well-being and belonging, watch the trailer here > https://lnkd.in/eEmh5WY3

Here are a few powerful statements from our latest cohort:
'I'm in a better emotional state and able to enjoy my personal life more.'
'I can be the leader I want to be, not the perfect leader I thought I needed to be.'
'Authenticity isn't just how we present ourselves, it's how we talk about ourselves.'

Funny!
But illustrates why teamwork is vital to an organization and why we, while serving an organization must all be focused on reaching the goal.
In the realm of Human Resources, our superpower lies in our ability to listen. 🎧✨
Listening isn't just a formality; it's the key to understanding the heartbeat of our organization. When we actively listen, we uncover insights, bridge gaps, and transform challenges into opportunities.
As HR professionals, our role transcends beyond hearing words – it's about tuning into the unspoken, deciphering concerns, and fostering an environment where every employee feels valued. Through active listening, we not only gain a deeper understanding but also become catalysts for positive change.
Let's make listening a guiding force of our HR approach, creating a workplace where every voice is not only heard but truly listened to. 🌐🤝
