Recently in work I was inspired by one of Accenture Strategy & Consulting Apprentices, who showed me the strength of sharing individual experiences in challenging circumstances to cultivate a culture of teamwork and authenticity. 🌟 The Apprentice spoke on a community event, speaking to our new cohort and sharing the challenges they faced early in the programme. They were above all else genuine about the struggles they faced and the support they received, inspiring me and hopefully others within the programme. I've just completed Accenture UK's Introduction to Technology Apprenticeship on @Forage. It was a great Experience and been a really productive weekend. In the simulation I: * Engaged in a dynamic dialogue as a technology apprentice at Accenture, exploring the attributes of successful technology apprentices, the versatile applications of technology across industries, and cutting-edge technology streams in collaboration with a senior counterpart. * Demonstrated active participation through the completion of targeted multiple-choice questions, reinforcing practical comprehension of key themes discussed during the apprentice dialogue. This interactive approach enhanced the depth of understanding. * Applied problem-solving skills by delving into a client case study and identifying shortcomings in existing processes that hindered effective business operations.  * Showcased practical expertise by preparing and presenting a compelling slide deck to senior management at Accenture. #accenture #virtualinternship #forage #technologyapprenticeship

It's National Apprenticeship Week!! If you’re considering alternatives to university, Accenture’s Consulting or Technology Apprenticeships could be what you’re looking for. Celebrating my second year as an apprentice during National Apprenticeship Week fills me with pride and gratitude. These past two years have been a journey of learning, growth, and hands-on experience. Embracing this year's theme, #skillsforlife, I am confident that the skills that I have learnt in my time as an apprentice are skills that I can carry throughout my life. Some of my key takeaways/tips so far are: 1. Lack of prior work experience does not mean a lack of skills. Abilities extend beyond the workplace, such as, problem-solving, research, and effective communication. These skills can be cultivated through school education, volunteering, and hobbies. 2. Try and be as open as you can to doing things outside your comfort zone, such as attending events by yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised when things go better than you thought! 3. Finally, you are more than capable of achieving great things. Success is not a universal idea for everyone. Define your path, plan proactively, and empower yourself for a fulfilling and prosperous future during your degree apprenticeship.
