PITCH TRAINING This is ACCENTURE-Industry X. In Accenture, Industry X, we have encouraged the People in our Teams to propose ideas to the Board of the Service. People have gathered in Teams to brainstorm ideas and develop them. They have competed and now, the finalists have to pitch their ideas to the Board. Yesterday we held a session to observe their pitches and to provide them with feedback and Communication tips to help them do better in front of the board and in any other pitch that they give in the future. Part of the beauty of this initiative as that give the chance to interns to mingle and work together with consultants and even senior managers. Yesterday we put focus on Impactful Communication and we observed and gave feedback on its three pillars: - Audience Focus Design - Creation of Understanding - Delivery Mastery Accenture, for things like this and for many more is a Great Place to Work. As a learning technologies consultant from Cognizant, I had the privilege to participate Qatar Airways Group Learning and Development’s (GLD) Learning Conference last week led by Gary Clarke BEng MA MSc FCMI CMgr, QR Head of GLD.
