It was a pleasure to represent Lifetime Cardinal at Summer Scamper today. So cool to see all the community come out and support the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital!

Mettle Health is known to say, there’s more to health than medicine. I completely agree, which is why I’ll be speaking at their August annual convening about: “Changing the System: A New Approach to Incentivizing Care at the End of Life.” And I’ll be joining esteemed speakers including BJ Miller, MD, who is producing the event and speaking to issues like “Death and Dying in a Tech World” and “Intersection of Architecture, Health, and the Human Process.” Find out more at https://lnkd.in/d_-Y39Ec. If you’ll be there, make sure to reach out. I’d love to connect. #personcenteredcare #agingcare Humanity

Food insecurity is a growing concern across Pinellas County. We are honored to work with Daystar Life Center, Inc. through our #projecttryton initiative. According to Feeding America's Map the Meal Gap 2020 study, which used data from 2018: Pinellas County: - Food insecurity rate: 12.2% (124,430 people) - Child food insecurity rate: 19.1% (38,080 children) Hillsborough County: - Food insecurity rate: 12.6% (178,820 people) - Child food insecurity rate: 19.5% (61,600 children) It's important to note that these numbers are from before the COVID-19 pandemic, which likely exacerbated food insecurity in these counties and across the United States. Feeding America projected that the overall food insecurity rate for the United States could have reached up to 15.6% in 2020 due to the economic impact of the pandemic. #endhunger

As we close the chapter on another year, many of us find ourselves reflecting on the transitions that have shaped our professional journeys. Whether you've embarked on a new career path, climbed the ladder within your current role, or are in the midst of seeking new opportunities, change is a constant companion in our careers. One aspect of these transitions that often weighs heavily on our minds is health benefits. The end of the year can bring about a sense of urgency to utilize remaining benefits, while also prompting us to consider what our health coverage will look like in the year ahead. As we look forward to the new year, it's an opportune time to reassess not just our career goals, but also how we prioritize our health and well-being. A new year brings new possibilities, and with it, the chance to align our professional aspirations with our personal health objectives. Let's embrace the transitions, advocate for our health needs, and step into the new year with confidence and clarity. Here's to a prosperous, healthy, and fulfilling 2024 for all of us! #CareerTransitions #HealthBenefits #NewYearGoals #ProfessionalGrowth

High-quality primary care for everyone.
Visiting our rural clinic in Hobart, OK today. It was an honor to have OK State Senator Brent Howard and State Representative Kendrix Gerrid as our guests. Our partnership with Variety Care is bringing vital primary care to rural locations where the economics of traditional primary care make services inaccessible.

Knowledge is power! 🏋🏾♀️ Spent the last two days at the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH) retreat and learned about the Patient Rights Advocate Hospital Price Finder tool, which "aggregated publicly available price transparency data from 6,000 U.S. hospitals to empower all Americans with actual, upfront hospital prices". Already shared with some Covered California team members and brainstorming how to leverage this data transparency to benefit our enrollees! https://lnkd.in/giykekx4
