People will never forget how you made them feel: What truly defines your legacy isn't what you expect. It's not the awards or the material possessions. It's something more meaningful and deep. It's the impact you have on other people. People might forget your achievements and the job you did. But 80% will never forget how you made them feel. (Harvard) It's time to focus on what really matters: Everyone will remember: How kind you were How humble you were How you listened to others How you kept your promises How you made an impact in life How you told your stories to others How you shared moments together How you loved them no matter what How you showed up when others didn't Legacy isn't in the things we leave behind. It's the connections we build that define us. 👇 Want a PDF of my top infographics? 👇 ▶️ Go Here: https://lnkd.in/g2xbnwhp Please repost to help others out there! ♻️

And, most of all: they remeber traumas. If you traumatize someone, you'll live, rent free in their, mind for the rest of their lives (and sometimes even on their decendant's minds) But not all traumas are equal. One trauma, that I use a lot, it's to show a person the worse scenario possible. After this initial trauma, I teach the ways to get out this scenario, and that way, both the trauma and the way out becomes engraved in the very essence of the person.

The only people who will remember the long hours you worked are the ones you were "too busy" to spend time with.

Couldn't agree more, Justin. Legacy is about the hearts we touch and the lives we improve.

Way you treat others, and the imprint you leave on people's hearts and minds.

Well said, Justin Mecham. In my experience as an emergency physician, the emotional connections we build with patients often mean more than any medical achievement. It's these moments of kindness and understanding that truly define our legacy.
