Embracing failure is crucial for growth. When leaders see failure as a learning opportunity rather than a setback, it encourages their team to take risks and come up with new ideas. Failure teaches you what doesn’t work, and helps you find better solutions. It’s not about avoiding mistakes but about learning from them and moving forward stronger. Every failure is a step closer to success, and shows you new ways to achieve your goals.

Justin Mecham something I wish more leaders did was Dream Big again. I see too many leaders that try to work their way forward instead of work backwards from big dreams that can compound their impact. Big dreams inspire people. I think habits and systems has made it tough for people to hit pause, take the balcony view, and create an actual transformational project that will make a real difference beyond bean counting.
