We're gonna need a bigger boat. As part of yesterday's growth kickoff, our entire GTM team split into groups and collaborated for 45 minutes on new product pitches. Then, each group presented for 5 minutes, Shark Tank-style, answering: - Who is this feature/solution built for? - What problem is the customer/prospect facing? - How are they solving this problem today? - How would this feature/solution solve that problem better? - Where could this solution live? - What key metric would this solution improve? It was a great exercise, and each team took it very seriously. However, there could only be one winner, and that was the team of Patty Williams, Hector Fourzan, and Daniel Trevino. Nice work! The first week at my new job is done and dusted. ✅ 𝘏𝘰𝘸'𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘰? #startuplife is as thrilling as it is nerve-wracking. I had more meetings last week than I had in the whole of Q4 2023 (𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 exaggeration 😅). 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝: ⤷ I worked with really talented people who truly believe in the company, team, and our product. ⤷ I talked with the co-founders, who asked for my input from day one. ⤷ I aligned with my team lead, who has a clear and organized vision of where we need to go and how to get there. ⤷ I 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 agreed to go to a company offsite because I feel psychologically safe. It won't always go as planned, and we won't always agree, but we're all agile enough to learn and adapt because we all have the same goal. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐰𝐨 is going to be me learning everything I can about our tool, emlen, customers, and competitors. I'll also deep-dive into #buyerenablement for #buyerledgrowth. Anyone that sits on a call with us gets a LinkedIn connection request.
