I enjoyed the inaugural HLTH Europe. It was great to join Florian Brand and Genevieve Wolff Jurvetson on stage, looking at psychedelics both in Europe and more broadly, and seeing what the future might hold for people living with difficult-to-treat mental health conditions. Rightly, there's great excitement about the potential of these novel investigational treatments; there are also hurdles we’ll need to overcome, including ongoing cultural stigma about psychedelics. We need to continue to ensure that patient safety and optimizing outcomes for patients are at the heart of everything we do. We will also need to collaborate to make sure these treatments can be integrated effectively into health care systems, affording broad and equitable access, if approved. At Compass, we’ll continue to do our part to find new treatment options for the millions who need them.
