When we take chances, we open ourselves up to new possibilities and new experiences. We learn and grow, and we become stronger and more resilient. That's why I encourage you to make a choice to take a chance today. It doesn't have to be a big chance. It could be something as small as trying a new restaurant or talking to a stranger. But whatever it is, make sure it's something that will push you outside of your comfort zone. You never know what amazing things could happen. New week new intentions! Don’t wait for the new year to start changing or start something new. Set your intentions daily or weekly. With a new week, new opportunities await. To help with setting your intentions, ask yourself: - Who do I want to be? - What do I want to have? - How do I want to feel? - What do I want to appreciate? - What do I need to let go of? - What do I need to attract? - At the end of the week as yourself, how did I do this week? Do not forget to celebrate your wins whether they are tangible wins or new learnings and insights!

It's a new month and a start of a fresh quarter. I'm filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead. The start of a new quarter is like turning a new page in the book of possibilities, a chance to set new goals, explore new strategies, and embark on new adventures. But it's also a time for reflection, to look back on the successes and lessons learned from the previous months. What worked well? What could be improved? Taking stock of our achievements and challenges helps us chart a course for the future with clarity and purpose. As a fresh quarter begins, let's dive in with enthusiasm and determination. We're officially in Q2. The year is flying by, and it's time for my quarterly check-in. Every few months I take inventory of my professional and personal life, level set, and work toward new goals. Here are a few things I'm reviewing on both fronts: 1. Ensure our team feels fulfilled by their work; shift priorities pending their feedback. This is ongoing but always a good reminder! 2. Review external partnerships to identify synergies and services that support better member outcomes. 3. Celebrate big and small wins across the board. 4. Plan a summertime family getaway with at least one outdoor activity. What are some things you're thinking about heading into a new quarter?

Summer's end is a prime time for reflection. It's easy to feel like the end of summer is the end of a world of fun and freedom. But, don't make the mistake of feeling like summer time's over. Instead, think about how you can transform your summer experiences into life lessons. Think about your toughest moment. Maybe you fell off a paddleboard. Or perhaps your camping trip hit a snag. Maybe you didn't hit your sales quota. Whatever it is, channel that memory into something bigger. Think: What did you learn? How did you overcome it? What strategies can you take with you into fall? Your summer experiences aren't over until you learn something from them.

As we kick off summer it's time for an important reminder. The memories you make this summer won't happen in your office! They'll happen when you're out enjoying life with your friends and family. I know a lot of business owners struggle with taking a real break. But sometimes the most productive thing we can do is slow down to recharge. Because you work incredibly hard every day and you deserve some fun! So this is your reminder to carve out some time for you. Go make the most of these days before they're gone! This year didn’t end on the note I thought it would. I’ve spent the last week reflecting on what I could have done differently in my last role, so I can make improvements & not make the same mistakes moving forward. And while there are plenty of things I could have done differently, there seems to be an underlying theme to all of it: communication. I don’t mean communicating as in emails, meetings, IMs, etc, by communicating, I mean asking tough questions, getting clarification when needed & being proactive when it comes to ideas & strategies. ⭐️ If you’re wondering what the vision of your organization is - ask. ⭐️ If you’re not sure where you fit in or if you’re making the impact you envisioned - get clarification. ⭐️ If you have ideas or strategies to share - don’t wait to be asked to share, be proactive. ⭐️ Don’t be afraid to challenge current processes or ideas. ⭐️ Ask for feedback regularly - don’t put yourself in a position to be taken off guard when it comes to how your job performance is being measured & perceived. ⭐️ Don’t lose confidence in yourself - know that you’re great at what you do & that there’s a reason that you’ve been put in your role. I know what I bring to the table & I know the impact I can make. I’m excited to see what opportunities await me come 2024. Wishing you all a very safe & very Happy New Year!!
