Back in March, Child Care Associates launched a new recruitment tool geared toward bringing in a large number of Early Head Start Apprentices to earn their CDA and become Early Head Start Teachers. The High Volume Recruitment Experience (HVRE) model was born out of my own struggles to find early educators when I was a Talent Recruiter and watching my kids be efficiently hired, trained, and deployed to work in concessions at Globe Life Field. They are experts at hiring large numbers of staff for one type of position. To date, we've hired about 50+ Apprentices and will host 23 more prospective Apprentices at our HVRE next week. Yesterday I got word that our first Apprentice completed all requirements for her CDA. She overcame alot of personal obstacles, was persistent, and met her goal. I'm like Mama Bear Proud of her!!!! I'm thankful to work at a place where you can say "hey I got this idea...not sure it will work but wanna try?" I'm also thankful for all the people on our cross-department HVRE team who have worked hard to make good things happen!
