The people/personnel and the comradery. What is the most interesting project you’ve worked on? Sundance Marginal project. Complex project with important phasing and milestones. What advice would you give someone who might want to join our company? Good place to be, a lot of opportunities if you’re willing. Hobbies: Home projects, working on equipment, boating, and spending time with grandkids. What is one thing people probably don’t know about me? I enjoy mentoring the younger generation and helping neighbors (the snowplow man). Bucket list: would like to have a personal butcher shop.

I spent the first 20 years of my life heavily involved in team sports. Football 🏈 Hockey 🏒 Lacrosse 🥍 Every now and again I'd get on a team that just felt special. It's hard to describe concisely what made those teams special as there are many elements to it. But, this is what is top of mind for me when thinking of “special” teams I've been on: 1. Everyone had high self-accountability to their responsibilities and also to the success of the team. 2. Heavily solutions-oriented, Never dwelled on the past beyond learning from the situation and moving forward with new information. 3. Effortless chemistry. The teams connected very organically, everyone could feel the culture and shared goal and having that helped form strong personal bonds. 4. Ability to challenge one another constantly to ensure we were coming to the best solution/ ideal state and maintaining a positive team energy. There are endless things I can think of about the people on those teams. Passion for their work, desire to serve others, risk-taking, and strong decision-making. It’s a strong alignment on so many things. I feel like this is the type of team I’m on now and I'm fired up about it. It's a busy time of year and we’re ready for it! 💪
