Serve Robotics has recently expanded its delivery operations into Koreatown, Los Angeles, as part of its broader strategy to increase its geographic reach across the U.S. This expansion allows Koreatown residents to enjoy the convenience of autonomous delivery through Uber Eats, leveraging the area’s dense commercial hub and robust sidewalk infrastructure. 🤖 Ali Kashani, Ph.D. the co-founder and CEO of Serve Robotics, has been instrumental in this growth. With a background in leading Postmates X, Kashani has driven Serve Robotics to achieve significant milestones, including the commercialization of Level 4 autonomous delivery robots. His vision is to make delivery more accessible and sustainable, aiming to deploy up to 2,000 robots by 2025. Dr. Ali Kashani was born in Iran. He later moved to Canada, where he received his Ph.D. in robotics from the University of British Columbia. To honor the brave women of Iran, some of the robots have names like Shirzan and Bahar.
