Technologies and strategies evaluated by centers like METEC (Zimmerle group) play a vital role in these efforts, helping to identify and deploy solutions that can reduce emissions from the energy sector and other sources of methane.

Our new article is online! 😊 https://lnkd.in/erPwPUEP Despite the significance of snow in various cryospheric, polar, and construction contexts, more comprehensive studies are required on its mechanical properties. In recent years, the utilization of micro CT has yielded valuable insights into snow analysis. Our objective is to establish a methodology for mapping density-dependent material properties for dry manufactured snow within the density range of 400–600 kg/m3 utilizing CT imaging and step-wise, quasi-static, mechanical loading. We also aim to investigate the variations in the structural parameters of snow during loading. The three-dimensional (3D) structure of snow is captured using micro CT and Digitial Volume Correlation (DVC). I'm thrilled to share that I successfully completed a course about technical, social, economic and regulatory aspects of clean energy pathways (CEPs) using the subsurface. By the end of the course I learned how to: -Explain and map multiple CEPs using the subsurface -Recognize CEPs' challenges (technical, public perception, regulation, economics) and opportunities -Describe subsurface characterization methods and identify how they can be used to evaluate CEP potential Thanks to the Tight Oil Consortium for this amazing opportunity!

Hello all! I am proud to announce that I have just presented my third conference paper for the year! Within the work titled "Identification of Parameters for Tethered Satellite System to Emulate Net-Captured Debris Towing", a parameter identification framework was formulation such that the dynamics of a lower-order Tethered Satellite System (TSS) model best match that of a higher-order net-captured towed debris system in simulation. This paper is one of the relatively few works in literature that studies the post-capture dynamics of net-based debris removal systems.
