Damn! One day in and my bracket is busted. March Madness is one of my favourite times of the year. There's just something about the format that makes them so exciting to watch. People love to root for the underdogs and upsets are celebrated. (BYE Kentucky…sorry, not sorry!) And this year, I think the women are going to outshine the men. Mostly because of Caitlin Clark and her pending GOAT status.    The other thing I love to see, the commercials that come out. Honestly, I think they are even better than some of the SuperBowl commercials. As an added bonus, this year because of their NIL deals, we are getting a fresh new set of commercials featuring college stars like Caitlin alongside legendary actors, and Hall Of Fame athletes. I’ve been inspired by Stephen Meier (https://lnkd.in/ekjeqDXR) who’s been sharing his process to self-distribute his movie Woodbridge. I’m going to start sharing my process to bring Vengeance Trail to the world. So, for the next month or so, please forgive the nothing-but-Vengeance-Trail show. Goals: Double the money I spend on the event (I have $1000 at the moment).  Use profits to plan a theatrical event in Los Angeles where the movie was shot. Create buzz for future online sales. On my plate: -Update EPK (electronic press kit). -Advertise the event locally (posters, press, sponsors). -Get 5 official reviews to get on Rotten Tomatoes. -Update all socials regularly. -Make backdrop for the red carpet experience. -Invite as many of the cast and crew as I can find. It’s been 20+ years. -Create new BTS videos to interact with filmmakers and fans. -Plan to stream the Q&A using Eventive. -Create some merch to sell. Any advice is appreciated! Ian

What's it like inside a mascot suit? It's hot. It's sweaty. And most importantly, inspiring. Our dedicated Joey performer Stephanie O'Neil knows this well, performing as our favorite Can-Do Kangaroo at so many of our games, special events, and other community functions. The hugs and high-fives make all of the perspiration worth it. Stephanie and all of our mascot performers are changing lives for the better with every interaction.
