If anything America and the World needs now, it is healing • Usually healing begins with an acknowledgement and apology of a action that has negatively impacted a person or group of people. • But how can a community truly heal in absence of changed behavior, attitude, or policies? • Healing through language doesn't always necessitate an apology. Instead, it embraces the strength of acknowledgment, understanding, and EMPATHY. It's about creating spaces where voices are heard and validated without the weight of unnecessary remorse. • Moreover, it entails using words that acknowledge pain, validate struggles, and offer genuine EMPATHY. It's about creating a safe environment where individuals feel heard, seen, and understood without the burden of expecting an apology for their feelings or experiences. • And sometimes saying, “I Apologize, please forgive me” can go a long way. •
