Director of Marketing Communications at Lockton

Lockton's Annual United Way Campaign took place only three months after I started at Lockton. It was a fast and furious way to not only get to know my coworkers but to understand the depth of charitable giving, as well as how much community means to Lockton as a whole. The Campaign is 8-days-worth (!) of activities, ranging from on-campus volunteer offerings (bringing a blood-drive IN-house, packing Impact Kits for local shelters, etc.) and off-site volunteer opportunities. As a new Associate, seeing and experiencing the way Lockton continuously [and enthusiastically] shows up for it's communities was both eye-opening and humbling. I am so proud to work at Lockton, to be on the Planning Team for this special annual Week(+) of Giving, and - cherry on top - to be named as a finalist in United Way of Greater Kansas City's first Waymaker Awards. Cheers to all the incredible nominees, and thank you, United Way, for supporting our KC Community like you do!

Meet our first All-In Award Finalist, Lockton! "This past year we really focused on giving your time and your treasure," says Morgan VanGlampeare, Meeting & Events Manager at Lockton. "We packed over 8,000 impact kits, we gave over 70 units of blood, and we had a really great turnout at all our events whether that be volunteering or learning about the nonprofits in our community." "It's encouraged from our founder, Jack Lockton. This was extremely important, both United Way and partnering with our communities," says Kristen Evilsizer, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Lockton. Join us this Thursday, July 11 as we celebrate impact across Kansas City. Tickets and information can be found at buff.ly/3Vct2zU #Waymakers #WaymakerAwards #UnitedWay #KansasCity
