HOW TO ACHIEVE MORE CONSISTENT COLOR REPRODUCTION ON PRINTED MATERIALS   When designing artwork, ensuring the colors look the same when printed involves color management and communication with your printing provider. Whether it is digital or offset printing, Kenwel recommends the following tips:   - Use the Right Color Mode Work in the appropriate color mode for print, which is CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black), rather than RGB (Red, Green, Blue) used for screens. Convert your design to CMYK early in the design process to have a more accurate representation of how colors will appear in print.   - Avoid Extreme Color Variations Be mindful of color combinations that are challenging to reproduce accurately in print. Extremely bright, neon, or highly saturated colors may not translate as well in print.   - Communicate with Your Printing Provider Share your color expectations and any specific color requirements - color swatches, Pantone colors, or previously printed samples.   - Choose Quality Materials Select high-quality paper and printing materials. Different paper types can affect color appearance.   - Provide Source Files When submitting artwork, provide the original source files (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or InDesign files) along with any linked images or fonts. This ensures that the pre-press team can access all the necessary information for accurate reproduction.   - Request Color Proofs Ask your printing provider for color proofs or samples before proceeding with the full print run. Color proofs allow you to preview how the final printed colors will look. Review proofs carefully and communicate any necessary adjustments.   - Understand Printing Limitations Recognize that there might be slight variations between what you see on screen and the final printed output due to differences in technology and materials.   The colors, weight, and finish of the paper all contribute to your printing results. Give Kenwel a call for more insight into options you may want to consider for your next printing project. #color #printing #cmyk #offset #digital #kenwelprintersinc #est1952
