Believe it or not, winter is not that far away and a little car care may be needed sooner than later. I have always been one to undercoat my vehicles ( I keep them for a long time) and this is the time of year to perform that task. I can hear you already "I already had my car undercoated" Cool! As a little reasoning would tell you, the anti-skid on the highway wears away paint and undercoating! The logical assumption is to have the undercoating inspected and touched up as needed. You can perform this task at home with a can of PFC aerosol if you don't mind crawling around under your ride. Something else to consider: inside doors, trunk lids, rockers, and even under the hood edges can rust out due to the corrosive anti-skid collecting and rusting your ride from the inside out. The prevention is to drill holes and at least squirt oil in these areas. The holes should be large enough you can insert a plastic plug to seal the hole. . Happy Motoring!
