This is a very fitting post that currently aligns with my Insight Marketing class taught by Tom Wagner at UC Irvine. Our assignment this week is to find a print or digital ad that leverages consumer insight. Now let's be real with modern technology evolving, prints are not that popular to some and although some may argue this is not a formal digital Ad it does leverage consumer insights. The four primary insights are as follows: Human insight is a big part of this post, showing that it's the little things that people really appreciate at the end of the day! We all need a confidence boost or a hype man from time to time to get us through the day. Brand Insight is another key factor, and it again goes to show when you're craving Taco bell nothing else matters, especially when its early in the morning or your first meal of the day Product Insight, well the image speaks for itself. I myself personally did not know Taco Bell offered breakfast items. At first, I was skeptical when my professor brought up the Breakfast Crunch Wrap, but after this posting boy was, I proven wrong. Give me one minute to share a little weekend magic with you. Your biggest asset is people's trust and the quickest way for building trust is demonstrating a significant personal stake —what's often referred to as having "skin in the game." Humans have sensitive "skin in the game" detectors. You should genuinely show you are impacted more heavily by negative outcomes if things go wrong and you won't fulfill your promise. Consider this example: whom do you trust more for a quality meal—a local restaurant or a temporary hot dog stand outside a stadium? Most would say the local restaurant. The reason? The restaurant has more at stake. A single bad experience can tarnish its reputation and impact its business, unlike a transient hot dog stand, which won't face the same consequences for subpar offerings.
