Creating content for over four years hasn't always been easy. There were some weeks when it was hard to make the time to create and release great content. After creating hundreds of episodes you sometimes wonder... is it really worth the effort? This summer when I was over worked, I debated about stopping. Am I truly helping people understand the building industry, trends, and market conditions? Am I providing value to potential home buyers? How am I helping other builders be better? Sure it's nice to run into people when I travel who listen in and compliment the show. It means a lot. I've received some really nice emails from people out of state that have said my content helped them while building their home. That is why I set out to do the podcast. To help people with the largest purchase of their lifetime. It makes it worth it to hear those words, even when you get a negative review because someone doesn't like your point of view. Being a podcaster you have to put yourself out there and share your opinions. Not everyone is going to love what you say all of the time and you have to be okay with that. To have a digital service that I've never spoken to or worked with list me in their Top 10 is humbling as well as motivating to say the least. Thank you Feedspot for the recognition! I am a few thousand downloads away from a really major milestone. I would love to hit that target in the next two weeks.
