The industry challenges faced by Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) were on display in today’s full-year 2023 results presentation. The company's total operating revenue for the fourth quarter was reported at $35.1 billion, marking a 0.3% decrease year-over-year, while full-year revenue saw a sharper decline of 2.1%, totaling $134 billion. Verizon saw a sluggish performance in wireless equipment revenue, which dipped by 2% in the fourth quarter and 10.6% for the full year, indicating a shift in consumer preferences and tougher market competition.
