Employers should thoroughly review a candidate's profile, understanding their resume and aligning requirements with skills. Most importantly, they must consider market trends and feasibility of skills combination while creating multi-skilled job descriptions. I would add "Listened to". Leadership handles the final decision making, being involved can be easily "smoke and mirrored" to say you were involved, but the decision was already made. Being Listened to and heard would mean more to me than just involved in decisions. I love the "Mentoring". Become the person you wished you had to go to for advice when you first got started in your career. I can think of several places I've left, specifically due to a horrible manager that offered zero mentoring, appreciation, or delivered on a promise of promotion. BE WHO YOU NEEDED
