1️⃣ It helps the companies to give the impression they are growing despite the hiring freeze
2️⃣ It helps the companies also give impression to their overburdened employers that they are taking steps to onboard new members to offload work
3️⃣ It helps the employers to keep the talent pool active, and in case of any emergency they have the resources already to fish out the right candidate
4️⃣ And this last one is unimaginable, companies are going to the extent of conducting fake interviews, to get market insights. I mean really ??
Now imagine if you have been applying to a ghost job, while customizing that resume, filling up the details on the company website, with utmost care, -
all to ensure you can recive that one interview call, and worse, if your were interviewed and rejected post the same, without you being aware that they were not even intending to hire for the post.

✅ 2 - Check the timeline of the job posted, how long has it been active, there lies the clue if it’s a ghost job or not.
