ALC- Alieldean Weshahi & Partners has advised Valu on its closing of an EGP 922.3 mn securitized bond issuance. The issuance is part of a renewed short-term program and is backed by a receivables portfolio assigned to EFG Hermes’ Financial Group for Securitization, the issuance’s Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). The securitization is comprised of a singular trance with a 12-month bond tenor valued at EGP 922.3 mn and a Prime 1 (sf) rating. Our engaging online discussion delved into the intricate and vital topic of linkages between Central Securities Depositories (CSDs). This session was a fantastic opportunity to exchange experiences, review benefits and challenges, and explore the characteristics of different linkage models. A heartfelt thank you to FEAS - Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges for organizing this insightful event. The collaborative spirit and shared knowledge from various CSDs were truly inspiring. 🔹 Key Highlights: 1- Discussed the complexities and benefits of CSD linkages. 2- Shared insights on overcoming challenges in cross-border operations. 3- Reviewed different linkage models and each one’s advantages and disadvantages.
