Empathy! If you show your employees empathy, the kind being shown by the dog, they will go through a brick wall for you. I have had personal examples when I could have been a hard ass because someone was going through something that was affecting their performance. I took the time to understand what was going on and the transformation was amazing. The trust that you built, the loyalty, and how cheap is was. All I had to do was show empathy. In some ways, the Marines are like that; you know the entire organization is behind you.

The other day, I watched a video of #MileyCyrus where she admitted that she's sometimes scared to do things, but she still does them. Because, as she put it, "It's legendary to things even when you’re afraid!” 🔥 If Miley can admit to being scared in the show business it's a good reminder that it's okay to feel nervous or even afraid in the #businessworld. 🌍 What makes the difference is doing them anyway and not letting fear overcome you. Do the things. Do them scared, but do them. I urge you to do so. I’ll openly admit how nervous I can get before a presentation, a meeting, asking a question on a call, or reaching out to someone. But you know what? I still do it. And as I’m writing this post, it’s safe to say I survived. 😉 And as you step outside your #comfortzone, you will soon realize how quickly you’re expanding your #safezone. Sometimes, #women get intimidated by outer circumstances, but remember, it’s legendary to do things scared. So go out there and be a legend. Do things scared.
