Thanks Livia Moore for having me at the Antler event last week. We discussed among other things: Understand what game you are playing and some games require lots of $$$ while others don't. Differences between VC-backed companies like Voi Technology and bootstrapped companies like Guestit. Both games are good, just different. Importance of timing and fake it til you make it. A world-class team with wrong timing will deliver worse outcomes than an okay team with perfect timing. Shifting the mindset in a company. The tide turns quickly (esp for VC backed companies) when rates go up and down, and you should act earlier than what the average company is doing to position yourself well.

What should come first when building a new studio: 🎮 the game vision or 📝 the company vision (purpose, and values)? It's a debate I continually engage in with studio founders. It's a valid argument to prioritize shipping the game first and then addressing the vision and values of the company after achieving financial success. However, there is never an ideal moment to step back and work on the long-term big picture. When the studio secures funding or identifies product-market fit, all the focus is on rapidly achieving growth. What is the cost of scaling your studio without a clear vision of who to hire, how your teams should collaborate, and where you are going? In our latest episode of Rise and Play, we delve into the hard-earned lessons at Oh BiBi (known for their latest title #FRAGProShooter with over 150 million downloads 🚀) over the course of a decade: starting the studio from a game, making the hard mistakes, losing people, to transforming it into a sustainable company. Thanks, Martial Valéry for sharing candidly the entrepreneurial mistakes made along your journey! Say hi to Oh Bi Bi 😸

Expert Bubble Developer | Helping Non-Technical Founders and Small Businesses build and launch apps with nocode.
Currently streaming #BubbleCon and they're interviewing the founders of majorly successful companies HelloPrenup, BetterLegal and KleerCard who are each worth millions of dollars, mostly without outside investment, and with a very small handful of #Bubble Developers. To hear each of them describe how they sort of just fell into Bubble and were able to build these amazing products and grow on their own is infinitely inspiring. As an added bonus, one of the founders admitted on stage that she had only just learned what database triggers were for and another founders just learned about it while onstage. I find this motivational. You can still have much to learn about Bubble and still grow a successful business. There is truly no limit to what #nocode can do.

The core idea carries an important message: Come up with an interesting solution to a problem and get in touch with your users as early as possible to learn from their real world problems. We think we came up with a simple but powerful idea: Create webapps in a 3D environment that allows you to literally see how your application is working. I get a lot of questions about Antler, "What exactly is it that you do?" or "What qualities do you value in founders?" Maybe you're curious about "What does a typical day in your cohort programming entail?" or "Who are the people behind the Antler team?" These are great questions, and we're all about transparency and connection here. That's why we regularly host AMAs – to clear up these questions and walk you through our program, highlighting all the incredible opportunities we provide for founders. ✨ Stay tuned for our next AMA session to get all the insights.
