Celebrating PepsiCo Beverages North America employees who are living The PepsiCo Way is one of my greatest joys and, today, I’m excited to shine a light on Alberto Mendoza, a Pre-Sell Representative out of PBNA’s West Division who Acted with Integrity to help out a customer in his community. The pandemic has been hard on many small businesses, some more than others. When Alberto heard that a local business owned by brothers – a taco truck in Santa Ana, Calif. – had to shutter their doors due to a lack of customers, Alberto engaged the Laguna Small Format team to help the brothers embark on their next endeavor. These West Division associates worked with the brothers to spruce up a double discount store to entice more customers which they most desperately needed. Alberto and the Laguna team helped remodel the store by redesigning the aisles and purchasing paint, coolers and exterior graphics. They went above and beyond by cleaning the aisles, installing new racks and relocating all of the aisles and back endcaps. Talk about Acting with Integrity! Huge thank you to Alberto Mendoza and the entire Laguna Small Format team for helping out their community and showing us what it means to live #ThePepsiCoWay!

The work you see from PepsiCo Beverages North America wouldn’t be possible without my leadership team, two of whom, were recognized this year for their industry contributions. The Profiles in Diversity Journal published their list of 2023 Women Worth Watching in Leadership and included Heather Hoytink, President of our South Division. Heather has been instrumental in delivering growth for PBNA and will continue to shape the future of our business. Supply Chain Digital deemed Karen Jordan, our Chief Supply Chain Officer, as one of the Top 10 Women in the Supply Chain industry as a whole. Karen is well-known for her ability to drive productivity in the business, navigating complex challenges with the scale of our operations. Furthermore, these remarkable women are paving the way for future PepsiCo women by powering initiatives like She is PepsiCo, a national initiative celebrating our frontline female employees and a Returnship program in the South Division, bringing women back into the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. Congratulations, Heather and Karen, on these well-deserved distinctions!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the ribbon cutting for our new PBNA warehouse facility in Pittsburgh. This 150,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility takes PepsiCo’s presence in the area to the next level. Formerly, the team operated out of McKee’s Rocks for more than 65 years and this new facility will optimize operations to distribute 10 million cases of our beloved beverages annually. Thank you to the team who worked tirelessly on this transition – I’m excited to see the amazing work coming out of Pittsburgh! #PepsiCoProud Richard Glover, Andrea Ferrara, Chris Casini, Steve Barth, Shawn Swisher, MBA, John Reale, Bradley Schmitt, Alison Fineberg, Noelle Gorbunoff, Brooke Phillips (Sauchak)

Each year, we gather to celebrate our outstanding Chairman’s Circle of Champions honorees—the very best of the best of our frontline operations teams who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the areas of safety, quality, service, cost, and people skills. Their commitment not only strengthens our foundation but also inspires us all to push boundaries. From driving productivity and sustainability across our supply chain, to improving efficiency and safety performance, to driving a more positive and inclusive work environment, their contributions are making PepsiCo an even faster, stronger and better company and I couldn’t be prouder. Here’s just a few of the 41 PBNA honorees. Please join me in celebrating their accomplishments. #CircleofChampions #PepsiCoProud

Leading requires continued learning, and sometimes you get the chance to learn from the best. Weeks ago, I had the immense pleasure of hosting legendary Duke University basketball coach Mike "Coach K" Krzyzewski at our PBNA annual operating meeting. He was sincere, authentic and left us with so many lessons that I wanted to share in the article below. #pepsicoproud #leadership #powerforward

What an honor and privilege it is to carry forward a brand with 125 years of history. Yesterday, we celebrated Pepsi‘s birthday at our PepsiCo Purchase campus by reflecting on the iconic moments from our past, the moments that hit our senses, enveloping us in pride and nostalgia, and by welcoming in the next era of Pepsi. This brand has been a pioneer since its inception in 1898, tackling firsts throughout the last century. It’s this history that gives us the license to be courageous for the future, and the possibilities are limitless. #pepsicoproud #innovation #courageousleadership

125 years ago on this day, in the beloved town of New Bern, North Carolina, pharmacist Caleb Bradham coined the name Pepsi-Cola for his invention “Brad’s Drink.” That moment in history has become so much to so many, and the 125 years that followed have contributed to Pepsi becoming one of most iconic global consumer brands and staples in pop culture. As Pepsi turns 125, we will make the official transition to the brand's new logo and visual identity, marking the next era for Pepsi, and we’ll enjoy a 125-day-long celebration of Pepsi’s heritage by tapping into the brand’s most famous moments. While reflecting on our past makes us all proud, it’s what’s ahead that has me most excited, and how we pave the way for innovation, sustainability, and creating meaningful change for our communities. #pepsi125 #pepsicoproud #innovation
