Uh, yes please! 👏💰 • For more on the latest trends in the women's game, sign up for our free, 3x-weekly sports biz newsletter here: https://lnkd.in/eFMEdXx4 • In two game-changing partnership deals, new pro volleyball league League One Volleyball has signed two deals ahead of their 2025 inaugural pro season. 🤝 • League One Volleyball has franchises, six of them, in Austin, Atlanta, Houston, Madison, Omaha, and Salt Lake City, all — not coincidentally — tied in with at least one of its youth volleyball clubs. 🏐 • In June, the league announced a partnership with adidas. The relationship will start with the iconic brand outfitting LOVB’s pro and club athletes for the upcoming season, while LOVB and adidas work together to re-envision the volleyball uniform to meet the needs of today’s modern athletes. 💪 • As volleyball continues to be the fastest growing sport for girls in the United States, this partnership is centered around providing both club juniors and seasoned professionals with apparel and footwear that can elevate individual and team performance. • Later in the month, LOVB followed up with another partnership deal with Spanx – the brand's first in the professional sports space. 👀 • The partnership will kick off with a series of initiatives aimed at supporting LOVB athletes through various stages of their journeys, from youth to professional. As part of this collaboration, LOVB pro athletes will be outfitted in SPANX apparel for pre-season events and public appearances beginning this summer. ✨ • In addition to outfitting LOVB pro athletes, SPANX will support young volleyball players nationwide through activations benefiting LOVB’s community of youth clubs, volleyball tournaments and investment in athlete storytelling to increase visibility. This also includes donations to the LOVB Foundation, which focuses on increasing access to the sport for young athletes who might otherwise be unable to participate.
