Look what project is gracing the cover of STRUCTURE magazine this month! We are so proud of our team who have been working for more than ten years on saving this WWII airship hangar. NASA currently has 14 #providers on contract under #CLPS that are eligible to bid on task orders. To date, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration has awarded eight task #orders to five #providers to #deliver over 40 #payloads to the surface of the #Moon between 2024 and 2025. Astrobotic’s Peregrine Mission One is scheduled to be one of the first U.S. #lunar #landings since the final mission of the Apollo program, over 50 years ago. This will be the first flight for United Launch Alliance’s #Vulcan rocket.

Did you know that NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration has a long history of supporting advancements in Wildland Fire Management? Attached is a presentation I delivered to DOI leadership in 2019, highlighting three significant advancements in aerial firefighting in which NASA played a key role in fielding. Black Holes Are No Vacuums! While black holes have a strong gravitational pull, they don't suck everything nearby like a cosmic vacuum cleaner. If the Sun were replaced by a black hole of the same mass, Earth would still orbit it in the same way. We've officially delivered the first full-scale prototype of the Universal Stage Adapter (USA). The unit traveled down the Tennessee River from our Decatur, Alabama, facility to NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, where NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration will perform structural testing for about 8 months. The USA, a load bearing connector between the rocket’s Exploration Upper Stage and Orion crew capsule, gives NASA the ability to carry astronauts and large cargo (satellites, habitats, lunar vehicles and more) on the same flight. NASA’s #ArtemisIV mission, which will be USA's inaugural flight, is targeted for 2028.

Last month continues a streak of records, with the last 10 months each the warmest for their respective months in NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's temperature record, GISTEMP. What are Pulsars? These are highly magnetized, rotating neutron stars that emit beams of electromagnetic radiation out of their magnetic poles. Pulsars can rotate incredibly fast, with some completing hundreds of rotations per second. The below gif is posted by NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

After expected deployment, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's CubeSat teams are now awaiting acquisition of signal...AND the Firefly team successfully completed a second stage relight and nominal plane change following deployment.
