One of the things I’ve enjoyed the most since retiring from the government last year and starting Kraken Kinetics is the complete freedom to come up with creative ways to align incentives and truly create synergy with vendors, external partners, and customers. An example of this is Kraken Kinetics relationship with Tungsten Parts Wyoming. They are absolutely a key supplier for our business—we’ve purchased over 10,000lbs of their product within the past 6 months—but now we’ve transcended that traditional vendor / customer relationship to achieve new level of synergy in the R&D realm. We require unique sizes and shapes of tungsten fragmentation at high volume and low cost to realize our goal of delivering the most SWaP and cost-effective kinetic payloads to our customers in the quantities they require. Tungsten Parts Wyoming and Kraken Kinetics have aligned incentives to make that possible. Just this past week we empirically evaluated previously unavailable tungsten fragmentation the TPW team prototyped through new internally developed processes, in rapid response to our request. In exchange, we incorporated this prototype tungsten fragmentation into one of our existing live fire test series and stress tested it HARD for them. Our testing evaluated both its ability to survive very extreme explosive launch conditions as well as its ability to cause maximum terminal damage against hardened material targets. It performed flawlessly. Dennis Omanoff and Noah Gibbs we had a great time with you at the range and look forward to this continued partnership.
That's some interesting stuff there. I'm looking forward to retiring as well.
Excellent adaptability
Looks like fun!
