Senior Manager - Total Rewards at Walmart

I have been with Walmart for over 24 years and this morning was my first in-person experience at the annual Associate's Week WMUS Meeting and I picked a good one! 👍 🎉 This morning, we shared a new bonus program for hourly Walmart U.S. store associates, which rewards their great work and tenure with the company. The longer an hourly store associate stays at Walmart, the higher their bonus potential – up to $1,000 a year. 💰 The new bonus program is just one investment we shared this morning. 📣 We launched the Associate to Technician Program. This initiative addresses the skilled trade labor shortage while creating fresh career opportunities right here at Walmart. 🏫 We’ve doubled the number of skills certificates available through our Live Better U benefit. 📱 We introduced the new Total Pay & Benefits feature in the Me@Walmart app, which will enable associates to easily see features like their pay, 401K, benefits and more.

U forgot what they took away a couple years.

You say use PTO but when they take 40 hrs away and from the warehouse employees and overtime an they can't even work enough hours to make the hours necessary to make the "PTO earned hours" to cover the holiday pay they lost than they haven't gained extra hours. Especially if it takes 10-12 hrs to gain 1 hr of PTO.. I mean you treat your employees like they are stupid. You make billion in profits but can't pay for holiday pay. Seriously. There's a saying about Walmart.. That people work for the devil and the devil pays their bills. Guess who the devil is??

I want to know when us seasoned associates get more money a hour. The new people come in making what we are making. We have shown our dedication to the company. Is the company going to show us appreciation?

How about paying emplyees holiday pay like the company used to!!! Like when Mr. Walton was alive!

Great job getting hourly associates more benefits!

I read that the STARTING PAY for the technical jobs program will range from $39,000 to $94,000 per year assuming a 40 hour work week. That is sensational! Instead of calling service people from various companies to do routine maintenance and conduct repairs, Walmart Associates would do the work and they would receive Walmart benefits.
