Next Tuesday, Winter Texan activity directors and managers from across the Rio Grande Valley will converge in Harlingen for Welcome Home RGV’s Connection Fair. What is it? It's where we connect local businesses, area attractions, health care, and restaurants with Winter Texan decision-makers. Some of our vendors already have great relationships with the RV parks, so why do they come, year after year? Activity director turnover is high, for one. For two, where else can you reconnect after six months so quickly? Some say it shaves two weeks off their schedule, they don't have to drive all over the Valley, they create packets of 'need to know' info for this season and mark the parks off their list. That way they can concentrate on who they DIDN'T connect with. It's a two-hour show because, at this point in the Winter Texan game, you have to move fast.
