You can turn off these notifications: Settings & Privacy > Notifications > Network Catch-up Updates and then select the ones you don't want. The drawback here is that now nothing populates the tab. I wouldn't mind it if content still populated the tabs but I just didn't get a notification for it. I mean that what you assume when turn off the notifications. I guess LinkedIn is like "if you don't want the notification then you don't get the feature, at all!" 😂
