Joined a personal training program at LA Fitness at 55 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601. Was enrolled in a six-month program by Jermonn Hull, Manager of personal fitness. From the very go I explained to the manager of my health condition and clarified that I would either need to change the frequency for the program or pause the membership if I won't be able to work out. I was told i could do either. Paid for about 4 months, racked up 20+ sessions, and realized could not work out as my back got worse. Asked to reduce the frequency and was told "not possible". Jermonn requested to provide a medical certificate (attached) to pause the membership and help me not getting charged for the remaining 2 months. I arranged for a medical certificate and after doing so, to my dismay, my membership was canceled and not paused. I had 23 sessions remaining on my account from the 4 months I paid for but couldn't work out. I lost all my 23 sessions and was revoked access to the LA fitness application. 23 sessions are worth approx. $1500. On reaching out to Jermonn and the regional VP @Nicolas Jones I am being forced to resign the contract for another six months to activate and avail the 23 sessions I have already paid for.

3wWorst place. Rude manager. My nephew is visiting me from abroad for the first time. He wanted to join me for just one day and he is 13 years old. The general manager did not let him in unless he pays 20$ for a day pass. He is 13. How come you do not let him in? This is an unaccepted break from the LA fitness contract I signed with them. Also, how come my cousin( 50 years) who visited me last year, and was allowed a day pass for free? I do not know how I persevered in this place for 3 years multiclub membership. Nasty bathrooms, broken machines. Now I know how could all that happen under this corrupt management.
