International Womenโs Day ๐ This week weโre raising a glass to the ladies behind L.A Brewery, whose passion and expertise drive L.A Brewery forward. Weโll be hearing about their role and the words of advice that have inspired them. Together, we look forward to continuing our journey, creating naturally non-alcoholic drinks that are good for you and for the planet. Weโve heard from Ellen & Eloise. Up nextโฆ โญ๏ธ Lucy Gosling, National Account Manager What I like most about my role is working with the people who make up our small but mighty team. Everyone within the business passionately believes in our vision, and it's a real joy when we see and celebrate it come to life. As we continue to grow, I love seeing our drinks popping up in more and more places, knowing that more and more people are getting to enjoy our special drinks. ๐ก Lucyโs Most Inspiring Advice: Donโt give up. Good things take time. In a career in sales, perseverance is keyโeven when armed with an amazing product. Not every conversation will yield immediate results; it can sometimes be a slow burn. Then suddenly, it comes together and you secure the listing. As the market evolves and people increasingly realise the importance of having low and no options, we're witnessing a shift in mindset. The time for modern drinking is now, and it's incredibly exciting to see the shift in mindset unfold. Good things take time, so stay persistent and positive. #internationalwomensday #womeninbusiness

Founder at Moussechoco | Elevating Corporate Events, Meetings, and Gifting with Artisanal Chocolates
As I reflect on my journey with Moussechoco, I am reminded of the profound joy that comes from the simple act of gifting. Whether itโs a meticulously crafted chocolate, a beautifully designed dessert, or a thoughtful token of appreciation, the true value lies in the smiles and happiness it brings to others. One memory that stands out is from a corporate event we catered for a leading financial services firm. The CEO, a well-respected figure in the industry, personally thanked me, saying, Moments like these reaffirm why I embarked on this journey - to create moments of joy and connection. In the dynamic industries of financial services, IT, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and beyond, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle. But let's not forget the importance of appreciation and the power of a thoughtful gift. It's these little gestures that foster stronger relationships, boost team morale, and create lasting memories. As we approach another busy week, I encourage you to think about the last time you gifted something meaningful. ๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง ๐ฆ๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ: Letโs make gifting an integral part of our corporate culture. Whether it's for a milestone celebration, a team achievement, or just because, letโs commit to making those around us feel valued and appreciated. ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: If youโre planning a corporate event or looking for unique ways to appreciate your team, let's connect! "Vice President Operations: With 20+ Years of Ground-Up Expertise" | โAn Enablerโ- From Cinema Floor to Boardroom: A Journey of Perseverance, Passion, and Success.
"A Cup of #Inspiration: Lessons Learned from My First Corporate Job" Coming from a lower-middle-class family, the concept of "coffee" was #foreign to me. For us, it was always about tea. I still remember my first day in the #corporate world on 1st November 2011โa world of suits, ties, and an overwhelming amount of #data. It was then that I realized how crucial data is to business success. During my initial months, I noticed a trend: most of the #CXOs were drinking black coffee. Curious and wanting to fit in, I decided to try it. My #first experience? Not great. The taste was bitter and strong, unlike anything I'd had before. But I thought, "If the #CXOs are drinking it, there must be something good about it." So, I persisted. What started as a "style statement" eventually became a daily habit. It's funny how we often adopt behaviors by observing those we #look up to, believing that it might lead us to #success as well. Life has a way of #teaching us in #unexpected ways, and sometimes, it's through something as simple as a cup of coffee. #LifeLessons #CareerJourney #BlackCoffee #CorporateLife #Inspiration

โย Life is Like a Cup of Coffee: The Non-Linear Brew of Successย โ Just like the perfect cup of coffee, our journey to success is never just straight espresso. Itโs a complex latte art of experiences, with a blend of highs like the frothy top of a cappuccino and lows like the bitter grounds at the end of a French press. ๐ Imagine your progress graph as a coffee stain on a napkin โ itโs not a tidy line but a series of splashes, each telling a story of a spill, a sip, and a savoured moment. It starts with โI startedโฆโ like the first sip in the morning, awakening your senses and ambitions. Then comes the โI grew a littleโฆโ phase, where you add a bit of sugar, learning and sweetening your skills. But beware, โThings went downhill for a bitโฆโ as sometimes you overestimate how much sugar you need, and the taste gets overwhelming. Yet, like adding a splash of milk, โI learned things got better.โ You balance out the flavors, and your progress smoothens out. Sure, โThen I struggled,โ because who hasnโt spilled their coffee while juggling a dozen tasks? But remember, โAnd Iโll keep going because I picked myself up.โ Just like how we wipe the spill and refill our cup, we learn from our mistakes and pour ourselves another chance to succeed. So, coffee cups up to the messy, beautiful, and non-linear journey of growth. Hereโs to embracing every spill and every refill, because thatโs how we brew the rich tapestry of our careers. Cheers to the grind! โ๐ผ #TomCoffee #caffeinatedwriting #creativewriting #progress #motivation #SuccessIsABrew #keepgoing USG Professionals Belgium RGF Staffing Belgium

"One of the ten most influential Leaders in Digital & Tech" (BIMA). Campaign A-List 2024. Award-winning diversity advocate. Generally known as quite helpful. #Connectingthemarketingworld
One month done and the team's blowing up (with an honourable H/T to the rest of the London, Manchester and Glasgow teams). So, what have Gill Huber and I learned from this posse of hyper-bright over-achievers, who have unashamedly challenged and pushed us from Day 1? Talent wins. Every time. Every day. - Hire the people who want to make a difference. Then let them make the difference. Believe the hype: Culture eats strategy for breakfast. - Build it strong from the inside. Nurture it, grow it, celebrate and release it to make it your unfair advantage. Embrace 'being helpful'. - If you're punching above your weight with people who are already smart, creative and nice make sure you bring at least one thing to the party. Then commit to over-deliver. Know you're all in or all out. - Focus on what's making the biggest difference, then rinse, repeat and go again. Let everyone in - In Real Life is real life. Take down the barriers to working at work and make it the place people want to be. Food, drinks, dogs, friends, speakers, clients, partners all working and not working in the same space leads to bigger ideas and better outcomes for all. And that's where the return comes. Big thanks you wonderful people. We'll be back making the tea next week. And to Miguel Mollasgo, fly high my friend. Go set the world on fire because you will be the biggest thing in fashion in the next few years. You read it here first. #connectingthemarketingworld

As we reach mid-December, it's a pivotal time in the professional calendar to both reflect on the past year and look forward to new opportunities. December serves as a reminder of the collective journey we've undertaken in the professional sphere. As part of our work culture at EMD International A/S, we have โFriday GetTogethersโ - time for breakfast followed by engaging presentations on diverse topics. This Friday, my colleague and I are preparing a presentation about a topic close to our hearts ๐ Boosting our company's presence on LinkedIn by encouraging our colleagues to contribute to promoting #EMD by writing their own posts. You may or may not realize how big of an impact each of us can have on the business accountโs performance (the picture below speaks for itself). However, I got to the point in the presentation where I would like to show my colleagues some examples of well written LinkedIn posts. And what have I realized? That I almost never do it myself! Of course, I post from our business account, but not so much from the private one. Why is that? It is simply not that easy ๐ฅ I am very much aware of that. Many of us fear expressing opinions or making mistakes that could be quickly pointed out. So, before I urge my colleagues to dive into promoting the company on LinkedIn, I thought it would be unfair if I don't practice what I preach. Starting with this post! And more to come ๐ #b2bmarketing #linkedinstrategy #companyculture

"Coffee" โ Hellooo! It's been a while, rightt?! But here we are with story #4 of #thingsilearnedatworktoday! It's a new month, a new day, and I hope everyone's having a good week so far ๐ซถ๐ป Did you know that I'm the only one among my friends who doesn't like coffee? It's crazy. They love coffee from the bottom of their hearts, and here I am like, "Ew, I hate that smell." Anyway, it doesn't mean I've never had coffee, but very rarely, and I have a fair idea of what a REALLY GOOD coffee smells and tastes like. And if you look around, you'll see a hundred and one coffee shops because, guess what, everyone's a barista! So, I usually go to this coffee shop, only for their vanilla milkshake, which is so good. For once, I decided to have a cappuccino there, and it was HORRIBLE! It tasted like water and milk, and I don't know, it just wasnโt right. This made me think about how one can call themselves a barista, but only if you're good at what you do, know what you're doing, and are a specialist in it, will you get your coffee right. Similarly, in whatever we do at work, everyone has to play a different role, big or small. I believe that it's important for you to be a specialist in what you're doing and do what you do best. Of course, it takes time to learn and get there, but it's crucial that we know the ins and outs of everything we do. This applies to leaders too. Only if they know what they are doing can they lead, guide, and inspire others. Makes sense? #worklife #careerjourney #linkedinlearning #experience Disclaimer: Although this series is titled "things I learned at work today," the content is not solely based on my activities at my workplace and does not reflect my daily tasks. The name is used for illustrative purposes only.

I get it defining a companies purpose can be imparative to internal and external messenging. However, how about going deeper to gain understanding of the purpose. If you understand a companies and the Personโs Values you can get there. We should be measuring and making all our decisions, goals and work choices based upon our values. A consistent connection to values (your personal and the companies) will deliver increased retention rate and employee happiness. #values #goalsettting #employeeretention #happiness
