Happy World #Hindi Day! 🎉 Today marks the anniversary of the first time that Hindi was spoken in the United Nations General Assembly in 1949. Here are 6 interesting facts about this beautiful and rich language: 👇🏼 🌍 Hindi is the fourth most spoken language (the first three are Chinese, Spanish, and English) in the world, with over 600 million speakers. 🗺️ Hindi is the official language of India and is spoken in more than 20 countries outside India, including the US, Mauritius, South Africa, Yemen, Uganda, Singapore, Pakistan, Nepal and New Zealand. 🏞️ The word ‘Hindi’ is derived from the Persian word ‘Hind’, which means ‘the land of the Indus river’. 🌟 Hindi made its debut on the internet with the first Hindi journal published in 2000. GUJARATI There is an simple saying "If you are in Rome, do what Romans do". And if you live in Gujarat, do what Gujaratis do and that is too speak Gujarati. Many non Gujaratis have started to settle in Gujarat from the last 20-30 years. But they still are minority group(probably few lakhs, compared to Gujarat's total population of 5 crores). I had intense incidents with some freaks myself, although the probability is less than 5%; others are normal. The normal lot will have to deal with work colleagues, neighbours etc. So, how to learn Gujarati? You need to download PDFs from GSEB website, and work out your way uptill 8th standard(that's roughly the level where you can atleast read the headlines of an Gujarati newspaper). Also see Gujarati movies(Siddarth Randeria is the Aimtabh Bachhan of Gujarati Cinema) and Kishore Kaka(that's Raju Shrivastava of Gujarati Comedy)comedy videos on Youtube. Get an basic grip of things, follow this route and you will get good in 2 years. You will be able to read society circulars/rent agreements etc. after that. How shall I tell things with an analogy? Getting a grip of three languages is like getting the three points in Pro Kabbadi - an super raid or super performance in business 😆😆😄🙄🙄.

Ako, naniniwala na providing for the family should not be the responsibility of one person. Hindi pwedeng i-asa lahat sa isang tao. Naniniwala ako that the provision for a family, pag nawala yung tatay—namatay o hindi man, nabaldado—becomes the responsibility of everybody. Everybody must contribute to generating income that will help the whole family.
