This is a good short watch to get a flavour of the work that goes on behind the scenes keep events safe and running smoothly without compromising the end to end experience for festival goers.
Nick Morgan gives some great insight and commentary into some of the more pressing issues facing the industry. For me identifying the fact that no one really celebrates the success of being one of the safest countries in which to attend an event in the whole world is where I think long term tourism strategies and especially Local Authorities are selling their communities short.
There is a complete imbalance between the scale and scope of events LA's can and will provide in their annual calendars against what event producers and entrepreneurs could bring with the right imagination and support.
If you do have a great event idea or an event you want to grow, make sure you tap into the rich source of event production and safety available to make it better, safer and more sustainable.
