What does "community" really mean, especially here on LinkedIn? It's something I've been thinking about a lot as I've gotten more active with my posts. It's not just about sharing updates or hitting 'like' on each other's achievements. It's deeper. I'm curious about you – your dreams, your goals, and yes, your challenges too. Here's the thing ⭐ I want to understand what drives you? ⭐ I'm interested in how we can support each other? There's a saying that goes, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." I believe in that, especially here in our LinkedIn world. So, I'm putting aside any fear of being judged and making a call to my LinkedIn family: Let's really get to know each other. Share a bit about yourself in the comments or shoot me a DM. Tell me: Who are you? What goals are you working towards? What do you need? This is your invitation to open up and connect on a new level. Let's make our LinkedIn community more than just a network. Keep creating, even when stuck! As creators, the most beneficial thing we can do for our business is just that — to create! But sometimes we get stuck. What to do at that time? Follow these:- ▫️ Discuss a Challenge- Open up about a challenge you're facing. This can help you connect with your audience on a personal level and find support. ▫️ Share an Inspirational Quote- Sharing a quote that inspires you can provide motivation not only for yourself but also for others who might need a boost. ▫️ Feature Another Business- Shine a spotlight on another business you admire. This can build relationships and create a supportive community. ▫️ Provide Useful Resources- Offer tools, articles, or books that have helped you. Your audience will appreciate the value you provide. ▫️ Pose a Question- Engage your audience by asking for their opinions or advice. This can spark conversations and new ideas. Keep creating and connecting, even when it's tough! Just a friendly reminder ~ I’m here to help!

Comments are not to proove you're right. Comments are here to build community It's a slippery road while you learn how comments work for you. As some might start with "good post", some might start with deep unpacking of the topic. None is bad, none is good. The key role of comments is to: bring best out of the post and out of you, start discussion, make people want to join, add some value and personal perspective, give some positive energy, and trigger eyes on getting to know you. And from the "algo" perspective, help the original post to gain it's reach as well. It's been through comments I learn of people, I make friends, I meet in real life, I make partnerships, I grow my loyal community. Respect and love, kindess and humbleness, willingness to share and support, empower and celebrate. This is commenting for me. How it is for you? 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. 🏫 🎒✏ Eagerness. Nervousness. Excitement. Disappointment. New experiences. Old memories. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘟𝘏𝘈𝘜𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘋 𝘣𝘺 𝘪𝘵. Life, business and back to school experiences are not all sunshine and rainbows for everyone all of the time. So if you're not feeling as happy as everyone else seems to be, just know you're not alone. 👉 Find community. 👉 Write in a journal. 👉 Take time to meditate. 👉 Go for a walk. Unpopular opinion Community building cannot be your focus from the get go When I started linkedin in October 2023 My goal was to learn & gain experience Not building a community Which I still managed to do; while not making it my goal. This is how: • I focused on sharing what I learned daily - No pressure to be perfect - Just honest updates on my journey • Engaged with others' content genuinely - Commented when I had something real to say - Asked questions to learn more • Stayed consistent with my posts - Didn't worry about likes or comments - Kept showing up, even on slow days • Shared both wins and struggles - People connected with the real stuff - It made me more relatable • Collaborated when it felt natural - No forced networking - Teamed up on projects I actually cared about • Let relationships grow organically - Didn't push to make "connections" - Quality over quantity always • Focused on adding value, not just noise - Shared insights that could help others - Avoided posting just to post • Kept learning and improving my skills - Used feedback to get better - Celebrated small progress The community formed naturally, so own your story! what are your goals?

The great dilemma📍Moving in silence vs Posting Your Achievements On LinkedIn💥 I ain't going to lie. I was the move in silence type of person for many years. In varsity I was successful at a few small businesses but I would not talk too much or hardly post. The notion let your hard-work do the talking was my mantra. For my younger self that meant let my 'flashy' wheels do the talking! As I got into the workplace i felt that diligent hard work and output of results would do the talking. This platform however opened my eyes to a whole new perspective. That a wider community can be inspired by your accomplishments no matter how small you may view that accomplishment. That greater visibility and networking can introduce you to new opportunities,for me that has been becoming an author,mentoring and public speaking, areas that 2 years ago were non existent in my life but are now activities I love and enjoy.  A year into being actively engaged on this platform has taught me that it is not only about posting about your achievements that matters but also providing value to others. Content that can help and encourage someone out there through your experiences. It's about being genuine about your struggles and how you overcome them. Sometimes its not always that we fear that we may be bragging,but often times the fear of judgement of what others will say or think about us. But your story matters. Your story can change a life. Like I always say The very best is yet to come🤝🙏

Remember, the key is to 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 and share your unique perspective and experiences. Don't try to be someone you're not. Just be yourself, and you'll find a community of people who appreciate your insights. LinkedIn

5 years ago, someone said, “I have 10,000 contacts on LinkedIn.  I can get any work in the world.” It’s that simple, right? Start mass-sending connection requests until you reach a round number. You are 6 connections away from anyone, even Jeff Bezos. THIS IS NOT HOW IT WORKS It took me months to grow my LinkedIn network to 15,000. Many of my connections are people I met at conferences and networking events over the years. We connected as partners and colleagues. Many are global peers with whom I share the same experiences. This foundation can lead to unique connections and opportunities. We grew together, checked on each other's progress, and celebrated our achievements. Don’t reduce LinkedIn networking to automated connection requests.  Try to meet people in person, or at least invite them for a virtual coffee. It’s an opportunity to forge stronger connections. The most "Aha" insight I've gained from LinkedIn. Nothing beats the power of community. Building relationships with people. All begins with a connection. Here's the thing. Creating a community takes commitment. It requires investment. You got to contribute. And engage in it. But the reward? Is beyond words. Participating in communities has given me: (forget fake AI interactions for the sake of visibility) - Ways of creating extraordinary value - Access to meaningful connections - Feeling of belonging and support - Opportunities for collaboration - Insight to different viewpoints Fresh thinking that's got me thinking. Being part of a vibrant community has opened my mind. People inspire impact People inspire growth People inspire learning And that's just the beginning. When you surround yourself with like-hearted individuals, - Magic happens - Dreams unfold - Ideas flourish So, here's my challenge to you: - Find your tribe - Be authentic - Contribute Watch as your world transforms.
