If only our politicians and political leaders had the same vision with zero tolerance to corruption and mismanagement, Malaysia would have been a step ahead of Singapore. We have all the resources to achieve it but lack of leadership qualities and the "don't care attitude " of many has kept us behind this many years.

Indeed I have also seen Singapore grown from an almost Kampung to a green city that is always looking for ways to become better! After being away for more than a decade and coming back to work in Singapore, folks often asked me what I think of the current Singapore? Same yet different is my usual answer. Familiar faces of hardworking people in our hawker centres, and familiar vibes of the old intermingled with the new in each neighbourhood. I love the city scape with the diverse new plantings, the expanding park connectors, and the enriched parklands in Ubin and Sungei Buloh. Of course the emphasis on growing local Aquaculture for food security is what drew me back. 🎏

Thank you Prime Minister Lawrence Wong for reminding us that Singapore was not a monarchy built from the wealth of conquests, but a Nation built out of determination and hard work, resource management and optimisation, sacrifice and united effort, good governance and meritocracy, and above all - strategic thinking and visionary leadership. Wishing you the very best as you take over the controls to launch Singapore to even greater heights 🙏🏼

Focusing on lovability, and harnessing citizens inherent capacity to give love to the public spaces of their city, can more affordably, quickly and sustainably bring it to new heights of livability. The global PlacemakingX community is poised to support, and learn from, Singapore.

Thank Prime Minister Lawrence Wong for sharing meaningful moments. As a Singaporean, I will look forwards to you and your team for leading Singapore on this very Purposeful journey forward as we navigate in the world filled with Diversity as well as Adversity. On behalf of the Differently Abled Community (Special Needs) which my younger daughter and myself are part, we earnestly await more effective impact transformation and we are willing to contribute on both fronts. Let's continue to spread loving-kindness and make the society more inclusive. With gratitude.

I have been in SG many times and I have lived there for 2 years. Since first time I went in 2010 until now, the country has developed even further. It is very noticeable when there are a couple of years between my visits. One thing is the infrastructure, then the technology. For me, it is as much about the people. Respectful, inclusive, curious and definitely hard working. A country we all should look to - also Norway.

Since 2015, I have developed a deep connection with Singapore. To me, this country feels like home because I feel it in my heart. Although I am not a citizen, I truly feel a sense of belonging and connection with the community, its values, and its vision for a united and better future. I love this feeling, and I wish you all the best in your journey as PM Lawrence Wong 👍
