FRIDAY FUN FACTS 🤡 Did you know...focusing on the smallest amount of either accrued or remaining progress of donations increases motivation to donate by creating an illusion of fast progress.💨 Let's say you are trying to raise $10,000. At the beginning, mention the accrued progress: "We raised $1000". After you cross the halfway point of $5000, switch to the remaining progress: "Only $4000 left". In both cases, you mention the smaller number. Each donation will feel more impactful compared to the reference point. This is a bias called the small-area hypothesis. When you are striving toward a goal, you exhibit greater motivation when your attention is directed to whichever is smaller in size.🧠 Have a teeny weekend Leanne #salespsychology #donationpsychology #fridayfunfacts #thinkoutsidethebox
