Yesterday, the team and I were so happy and proud to share Prospect 13’s brand re-fresh and new website 🤩 I may be biased but I L❤️VE it. The P13 team has done a brilliant job capturing our brand essence and what it is like to work with us so a massive shout out to the ‘Dream Team’ ✨ To be honest, this was a HUGE tick off our priorities, and it has been hanging around for way longer than it should have. You are probably wondering why because we do this every day, and it should be easy right? WRONG! 🤯 We get under the skin of organisations to build stronger brands on the daily but doing it for yourself is way different. I’m known for being an over-analyser, but this was another level! 📃 We continually put this down the priority list despite being a high priority for us. But our clients will always come first. ⏯️ We experienced several internal changes and challenges which meant a stop start approach didn’t help and took us way longer that we’d like. ⏳ We pushed our own technical boundaries to make this website stand out. One year. WOW! This year was arguably one of the hardest of my life, yet somehow, one of the happiest. This year unfolded as a paradox – a blend of adversity and joy. External forces, beyond my control, constantly sought to divert my path in building this business. I take immense pride in having successfully navigated through the storm(s), hopping back on the horse after obstacles were continuously thrown my way. Through the storms, I not only experienced challenges but exceeded my own expectations. To my fellow entrepreneurs dealing with non-business-related hurdles, recognize that your resilience is not just commendable but resonates with those navigating similar journeys. The entrepreneurial journey is a constant 24/7 commitment, where addressing every non-business related demand is not always possible. "You gotta know how to play the game." Absolutely not! The ability to do good work and be rewarded for it shouldn't be periled with obstacles. It's not healthy and honestly, if you're questioning your worth or value or turning to anxiety meds and therapy to help navigate that game, you have to ask yourself if it's really worth it. Spoiler alert: It's not. You deserve more. Instead of participating in this year's version of the Career Games, do the work to decide what really works for you. Not all organizations are toxic, not all managers are bad, and not all organizations are misaligned with your values. Instead of pulling up a chair to the table (or trying to fix toxic cultures from the inside), build a new, more equitable table - or find an organization that better aligns with what you need to generate success. After a lot of internal repair and rebuilding, I have learned that questioning my worth or value isn't an option. It shouldn't be an option for you either. This is the table that our team collectively builds at RRP Marketing. It's one thing to be an amazing marketing agency; it's another to be an agency that people want to work for.
