Day 3 — Earth Month Repurposed Collage Challenge Natalya Khorover is hosting the "Earth Month Repurposed Collage Challenge." Pick up a piece of trash daily and use it as the starting point for your collage. Natalya provided 30 flower prompts, each designed to inspire creativity and environmental consciousness. Okay, It's April 15. I started late, but that's not stopping me. Here is my third flower, a beautiful creation generated from trash using Natalya's prompts. Today, I didn't plalk or plike. Instead, I used a bag that held almonds. I finished the almonds last night and saved the bag for today. It's amazing what you can create from something as simple as a bag! Three flowers made. What a great start, with twenty-seven more to go. Keep watching to see what's next. #EarthMonth #RepurposedArt #CollageChallenge #TrashToTreasure #UpcycledArt #EnvironmentalArt #CreativeReuse #SustainableArt #TrashArt #GreenArt #ZeroWaste #ReduceReuseRecycle #ArtFromWaste #AlmondBagArt #FlowerCollage #EcoFriendlyArt #DailyChallenge #EnvironmentalAwareness #ArtisticActivism #PlasticFreeApril #ConsciousCreation #MakeArtNotWaste #RecycledMaterials #EarthDayEveryDay #GreenLiving #TrashTransformation #NatureInspiredArt #DIYArt #CraftFromWaste #wcadc

Whack ’em And Stack ’em The Flora Way T-Shirt In conclusion, the Flora Way is more than just a simple path through a garden or a park. It is a journey that connects us to the natural world, reminding us of the beauty and resilience of flora. Throughout history, humans have relied on plants for sustenance, medicine, and shelter, and the Flora Way allows us to appreciate and honor this important relationship. The Flora Way also serves as a reminder of the importance of conservation and preservation of our natural resources. As we continue to see the devastating effects of climate change and loss of biodiversity, the Flora Way teaches us to value and protect the diverse plant species around us. By engaging with the flora in our environment, we can better understand and appreciate the delicate balance of ecosystems and the impact of our actions. Moreover, the Flora Way has a positive impact on our mental and emotional well-being. Studies have shown that spending time in nature can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and the Flora Way provides the perfect opportunity to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with the peace and serenity of the natural world. But perhaps most importantly, the Flora Way reminds us of the interconnectedness of all living things. Just as plants rely on insects, animals, and other plants for their survival, we too rely on the flora and fauna around us for our own existence. The Flora Way encourages us to see ourselves as a part of nature, rather than separate from it, and inspires us to live in harmony with our surroundings. In conclusion, the Flora Way is a powerful and transformative experience. It allows us to connect with nature, appreciate its beauty and diversity, and understand our place within it. It also reminds us of our responsibility to protect and preserve the flora and fauna that make up our planet. Let us embrace the Flora Way, not just as a path, but as a way of life that leads us towards a more sustainable and harmonious coexistence with the natural world. 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 Innovation is often spawned by focusing on the familiar patterns and objects in our lives that we take for granted. We don’t tend to notice or question their utility or potential, until suddenly we do. The seeds of innovation are hidden in plain sight. Ernie Fraze invented the pop-top soda can because he went on a picnic and forgot to bring a can opener. Jack Dorsey, created Square, after being fascinated by the inefficiency of the clunky black credit card readers that sat on every retail counter. Mary Anderson invented windshield wipers after riding on a trolly in NYC and realizing how dangerous it was to drive in bad weather. Tony Fadell was obsessed with his home thermostat that he walked by multiple times a day. Why couldn’t he control the temperature when he was away? He founded Nest. My great uncle, Dan Hurley, patented a version of the egg carton after watching too many eggs break as they were carried home in baskets. Opportunities to innovate often are right in front of us but they involve subjects or situations that are so mundane that we fail to pay attention. We'd spark more breakthroughs if we could somehow manage to look at the familiar— our customers, products and processes—as if seeing them for the first time. To do so, we need to get out of our own bubble. We need to observe from the outside in. IDEO’s Tom Kelley notes in his book, “The Ten Faces of Innovation,” people fail to notice opportunities that may be right in front of them because they stop looking too soon and focus on the foreground to the exclusion of the background. What problem in life or business do you wish you could solve that’s hiding in plain sight? #innnovation #invention #plainsight #notice #photographyislife #photography "𝘏𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘙𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘵," Denver Botanical Gardens 2023

RENOWNED OCEAN DETECTIVE TO INSPECT REEF WORK #coralreef #bleachedcoral #biodiversity #jacquescousteau #clousseau #plasticpollution #childvolunteers #ebechofoundation #coffee THE RETURN OF CLOUSSEAU We are hearing great boasts of artificial reef funding, but no one shows the pictures. Rather than actually cool the shallow waters, it is easier to say, as if reefs were "fast fashion," let's just build new reefs. #Florida's first famous Artificial Reef, The #Osborne #Reef, was 500,000 old tires dumped on the ocean floor offshore. After many years, nothing happened. Finally, the 500,000 old #tires had to be removed and sequestered elsewhere. Today's artificial reefs installed in Florida are multi-million dollar heavy metal coils which sit on the ocean floor. The coils are drilled with holes to plug in little branches of lab coral. Dotted on the sea floor, they resemble alien tech, very low in aesthetics. Because the water is too hot, new coral will not become established in these oversized box-springs. Even printed reefs would have to be genetically modified to withstand higher water temperature. LEIGH KIDS Ocean Initiative in #Kampala (the kids created the name) have presently picked their local environmental plastic litter clean for arts and crafts, blessed with a Headmistress who is both an artist, and a teacher dedicated to the children in her Foundation School, #Ebecho. After showing her a few eco-brick projects, she knew what to do, and the KIDS dove into this new art medium with gusto. They are now collecting a new stash for future projects. Myself poorer than a church mouse, actually living poor, I designed and dedicated The Jacques #Clousseau Reef Mug for the #Ebecho Foundation which receives 50% of the sale price- that is all my commission as designer and referrer. Naturally, you may keep, remove, and replace "Jacques Clousseau" with your own name and font choice, or company name, at the point of sale. This is a fine opportunity for the Big Foundations to put their name on mugs for their next conference. This is a Zazzle mug- I have tested many, and never had a return. My Store is "Gardenstyle" on Zazzle, I do not design beer, wine, shot glasses, poker or golf accessories. To see my other products, go #GARDENSTYLE. This generous 15 oz. size is frequently on sale from $18USD to now $15.60USD + shipping. Whatever the price of the day, it goes on my sales chart and 1/2 of the selling price goes to Ebecho Foundation, 0$USD to Leigh. https://lnkd.in/eua_eQyT This is a nice gift-quality thank you prize for a small donation to KIDS who for sheer joy are helping keep Kampala #Waterways Clean! As time goes by, they enjoy bringing the idea to other schools. https://lnkd.in/ejusWvGP 'Tis not even a donation. For the Reef-Lovers, it's just a mug purchase, competitively offered. The donation is my 50% and love. Show us some love and see what happens!

PERHAPS ANOTHER DESIGN WOULD BE MORE INSPIRING OR PERHAPS BLACK HAWK AND #LINCOLN NATIONAL #WTC INSURORS WILL START PAYING BACK MY LOAN OF MAY 1967 I'm calling in My Loan Now. I will not wait until 2067. It wasn't even a loan, but a clandestine theft of candy from babies. My mug fund-raiser for Ebecho Foundation Kids in Kampala is a failure. Nary a mug has been sold to this lucrative, planet-loving LinkedIn coffee crowd to benefit an actual clean-up in action by little children. This joint is overrun with investment firms like KPMG which are actually securitized by MY TRUST. They don't drink coffee is the problem. What does it matter if children with nothing are relishing the idea of re-purposing plastic from past Carnaval Cruises, for the sake of Conservation? Or what difference is it that they have discarded plastic for their main creative material at school? The difference between adults and young orphans is the children are innocent and motivated to go out and serve others without thought of reward. They do good for goodness sake. Adults who collect millions for their non-profit love of coral and earth will not even buy themselves a lovely mug which also could buy orphans with a chance of surviving and moving forward a few crayons and a tee shirt. As usual, there is nothing in this for me- so perhaps it is the design which does not appeal. I actually can design mugs with fast boats, pink Lambhorghinis with peacocks in the backseat, the Eiffel Tower- custom anything in bulk. However, in order to generate the 50% commission, the sale has to come from a link I post with a referral tracking number. That keeps a nice clean record for Ebecho Foundation and I to be 100% transparent. My goal is 10,000 Gold Dinars for my KIDS Ocean Initiative. ($18 Mug is On Sale today for $11.83 USD + shipping, that gives about $5.50USD to Ebecho Foundation, a jolly good God-fearing orhanage and home for at-risk children)

Artist & Professor sharing creativity and inspiration through photography, mixed media art and video exploring ecological sustainability. 25 years of art exhibitions, publications and commissions. 23 Years in art ed.
Look at this bright and beautiful artwork made using flowers! 🌼 Which one do you like more? Experimentation is a huge part of any artistic process to cultivate creativity. For these two pieces I wanted to use sustainable materials to try two different processes out. I used dye flowers to create two different botanical prints, one on plain paper, and one on a cyanotype photogram.☀️🌱 Comment your favorite process below! Wonderful Elvas Chen, our senior designer! One of the biggest challenges we have as a Chinese agency, is localising content. Designs and copy must align with global brand guidelines, yet appeal to Chinese audiences. Getting the balance right is critical. We recommend Chinese brand guidelines to our European clients to ensure the balance is right. Elvas ability to localise designs for our clients marketing campaigns is one of the reasons our campaigns work as well as they do :) The considerations are far reaching but put simply, these are the things you must consider when localising design work in China 💡 What are the campaign objectives? 💡 Does it align with global brand guidelines?- Chinese brand guidelines are advised. 💡 Will it resonate with the Chinese target audiences? ( different audiences have different tastes) 💡 Is it culturally sensitive? 💡 What format is needed for the platform( they all have different formats)? A massive thank you Elvas Chen for everything you do at Emerging Comms 😍 #branding #brandalignment #localisation #agencylife #chinesemarketing
